We loved our stay at The Birdhouse! I wanted to get away with my teenage daughter for a little mom/daughter time. She's leaving for college in the Fall and things have been so hectic lately so we really needed a "slow down" The birdhouse was the perfect retreat. The home is cozy and so cute - and the surrounding area is ultra peaceful. We hiked, explored the town and made a lot of memories in this little secluded paradise. Thanks to Joni for all her assistance and answering my endless questions! She was super helpful.

Great getaway Perfect size for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The last section of driveway to get to the cabin is quite uphill, thankfully it is paved, but still kind of worrisome. We had no trouble in a car even after it rained. Could be difficult to walk up for some people. The creek was nice and the dogs enjoyed it. Even saw a deer. The fireflies put on a show every night and the stars seemed brighter each night. Not much of a view of the surrounding mountains, but that's ok. The cabin itself was perfect- away from the busy hustle of everyday life. Plenty of waterfalls and wineries within driving distance. The curvy roads were fun to drive. We would consider staying here again.
