Fifteen years later, they own ten acres in Suches, and just finished building The Bird
House — which was meant to be Lisa’s She-Shed, but quickly evolved into the

Great romantic getaway
Great spot! Very clean and decorated nicely. Out and away from the towns so it’s quiet and secluded. Great place to unplug and relax!

Nice and quiet. Very private.
If you’re looking to be off the beaten path and plenty of privacy, this is the place for you. Cabin is very modern with all new appliances and furnishings. We really enjoyed our stay in the Bird Nest!

We loved our stay at The Birdhouse!
I wanted to get away with my teenage daughter for a little mom/daughter time. She's leaving for college in the Fall and things have been so hectic lately so we really needed a "slow down" The birdhouse was the perfect retreat. The home is cozy and so cute - and the surrounding area is ultra peaceful. We hiked, explored the town and made a lot of memories in this little secluded paradise. Thanks to Joni for all her assistance and answering my endless questions! She was super helpful.

This property was absolutely perfect for us. The size the amenity's location and the view. We could not get over how gorgeous the entire area is and how much we felt at home from the moment we arrived and check in until we left this morning. Thank everyone and such as for making our stay unforgettable.

Great getaway
Perfect size for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The last section of driveway to get to the cabin is quite uphill, thankfully it is paved, but still kind of worrisome. We had no trouble in a car even after it rained. Could be difficult to walk up for some people. The creek was nice and the dogs enjoyed it. Even saw a deer. The fireflies put on a show every night and the stars seemed brighter each night. Not much of a view of the surrounding mountains, but that's ok. The cabin itself was perfect- away from the busy hustle of everyday life. Plenty of waterfalls and wineries within driving distance. The curvy roads were fun to drive. We would consider staying here again.
