This large 1500 sq ft 3BR, 2.5 Bath apartment is only 10 minutes away from Times Square. Busses stop at the corner and run 24 hours. There are numerous shops and restaurants just a half block away. You will find these shops and restaurants much more affordable than in NYC. Hoboken is only 10 minutes away also if you are a Frank Sinatra fan or watch Cake Boss on TV. There is free wifi and use of laundry upon request. There is a fully supplied kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, flatware etc. I live nearby and enjoy meeting up with guests when I have time. The one thing you must do when you get here is walk to Blvd East. Its about 1/2 mile down the street and has the most spectacular view of NYC! Its not on the tourist map but you will not be disappointed! I have lived in the NYC area my whole life and would be happy to provide any inside info if you have any questions. Buses to NYC Manhattan right outside — 15 mins to Midtown Times Square NYC. Shopping and dining nearby within walking distance. This is a private apartment located in an older building with other apartments. If you want a simple and affordable place very close to New York City, this is a good fit. No parties, events, or smoking -- this is strictly enforced. The bedrooms have sleeping for 2 people in each room (queen bed in each room). The living room has sleeper sofa for 2 more people — total of 6 can sleep in the apartment. Work desk in the living room for remote workers. If you need to park your car, please note there is a 2-hour parking limit on most streets during the day and you are not able to leave your car overnight on most streets. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for your vehicle when it is parked on the street. Secure parking is available in the locked and gated driveway behind the building. You must pay the parking fee in advance to the host. The fee is $25 per car per night. The driveway can fit up to 2 cars. You will be able to lock and unlock the driveway gate to access your vehicle. Contact us in advance of booking for more details and to know if parking is available and how to pay for parking. The easiest way to NYC Midtown Manhattan is to take NJ Transit Bus 123 at the corner of 24th St and Palisade Ave (one block away). The return bus leaves from Gate 214 in Port Authority Bus Terminal. It costs $4 per ride. The ride takes about 15 minutes. The amenities that are listed at the time you book the unit are the amenities provided. Please review this list of amenities before booking. Self check-in and check-out are available. There is a lockbox with keys at the entry door to the building. We will send you the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival, not earlier. The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. We will not be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm). We will not give refunds if you have issues checking in after 11:00 pm. Early check-in and late check-out are not available. There is no luggage storage at the property. Please note that this apartment is located in a historic, older building. Some recent guests have arrived with higher expectations than what we can provide given the age of the building. The apartment looks like the photos in the listing and we keep it clean. It is a basic space with basic amenities. If you are looking for a functional and competitively priced place very close to New York City, this would be a good space for you. If you are looking for a modern and luxury stay, this is probably not the place for you. We also just want to make clear that you are renting an apartment and not a hotel room. There are many differences between short-term apartment rentals and hotels, and some newer guests to this platform may not realize it. Hotels are large and often have many rooms, and the ability to change your room should issues arise. Hotels also have staff 24/7 that can help you with every issue or questions that you may have. If your unit has a thermostat and the thermostat is locked, do not tamper with it or try to break open the lock. Doing so is called vandalism and is highly inappropriate. We will withhold your security deposit if you do this and possible submit for more damages depending on the situation. Also, guests must leave the apartment in the condition they found it (e.g. no leftover food, nothing that creates a need for excessive or deep cleaning). Please wash all dishes that you use, remove food that you've brought in, and discard all trash. Our cleaning fee is lower than most and it covers basic cleaning tasks like washing of linens and towels, vacuuming, etc. The cleaning fee does not cover deep cleaning, excessive kitchen and bathroom cleaning, etc. Thanks for your cooperation! If you check out late, there will be a $100 per hour fee for each hour or fraction of an hour that you stay beyond the check out time. If you smoke, use incense, use drugs of any kind (including marijuana and cannabis) anywhere on the property including outside areas and common areas, we will charge a $300 fee. If there are damages related to smoking or drug use, we will charge fees in addition to this $300.
