Holiday Inn Express & Suites Union City

Great place all around. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Amenities very nice and rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast choices are outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting or driving through Union city. Give it a try.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. We usually stay at something a little higher-end, but if this is what Holiday Inn Express is like, they're back on our radar. I highly recommend the bunk bed rooms. This is the perfect setup for families, short of an actual suite. Two bunk beds with a wall that's almost 7' tall around them. It provides about as much privacy and space as you can possibly fit into a standard hotel room. And the motorized black-out window coverings meant great sleep every time. The location is fantastic - if you're visiting Union City with kids, chances are good that you're there for the Discovery Park. This hotel is literally next door, and closer than some of the park's overflow parking. There's even a gate where (on a busy day, I assume) you could enter the park from the hotel parking lot. The hotel also seemed almost empty. I'm guessing there were 6 rooms occupied while we were there. It was great for us, but I'm hoping more of you will show up and stay there so they don't have to shut down. The staff was also very polite and helpful. Quick, easy interactions, didn't bother us, but very friendly. The lady who closed down the breakfast buffet even left it open for a few extra minutes because we were still in the area, and then asked if we wanted anything else before closing it down. At so many other hotels, they shut it down without warning 5-10 minutes early. Giant kudos to this hotel. We will be back.

We have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express & Suites before, but this was the best smelling hotel room we have ever stayed in. The front desk clerk (Autumn) was very friendly and helpful. Needless to say we were very satisfied with our stay here and will definitely stay here again if the need arises.

This hotel was great! It was very clean and had a helpful, friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located right beside Discovery Park. Every room has a microwave and fridge. I am vegan, and the included breakfast had a few kinds of oatmeal, fresh fruit, and juices, so I was glad there were some options for me. The only suggestion I would have is that we would have liked more television channels to choose from, like Hallmark Channel.

We had four families from different states meeting here for a reunion. Hotel staff was friendly and responsive to requests. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Pool and patio area was convenient for gathering. Especially liked the location close to Discovery Park. Breakfast provided good choices. I would recommend the stay here!

My daughter and I were sick with the stomach bug and were put in the hospital for dehydration. We tryed to cancel the hotal but they refuse, and would not refund our money so we our out $400 we gave them more than a 24hrs notice but they still refuse. They were willing to get eveyone sick with a virus. We will never stay. We ask her if she was willing to get other sick. The manager told us we have a life decision so she is willing to get her customer sick.
