stayed here to visit Sani Pass. a thoroughly lovely stay. staff all pleasant and engaging. and as it was off season and a weekday they gave us a free upgrade to a larger unit. fully equipped kitchen, that even had an air fryer! even received a comp load of firewood, and they started a fire in the fireplace in a minute. takes me 10. our unit overlooked a peaceful dam and what a delight when antelope came to drink in the evening. even saw zebra. they even had an industrial strength electric underblanket that made our bed a cocoon. only caviat: 3km of dirt road, not conducive to low profile cars. ours was a suv, so no worries. would have stayed an extra night, but forgot my meds.

Perfect location. Great for family with children. Full views of a lake and mountain with 2 friendly horses and a few zebra. Fireplace in the lounge area. Staff very helpful and willing assist. Special mention to Silindile who was on hand to assist with anything you need. Easy to access sani pass. Arranged by hotel.

My Partner and I booked in on Friday and Stayed the weekend 13 June to Monday 16 June. It was a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable visit including the facilities. We were well catered for and every request was accommodated. We really enjoyed the Jacuzzi available at our lodge and the view of the lake and the mountains was amazing. Silindile was an excellent host and Zinhle was taking care of our lodge and bringing our meals, she was friendly and ensured everything was neat and clean, restocking clean towels and setting our dinner table. We would definitely visit this lodge and would highly recommend it. The animals were at a distance freely walking around and we managed to see buck, Wilderbeest and Zebra. The fire place kept us warm as the sun set and the Jacuzzi was also put on for us to use preheated.

This was honestly our best trip to the Berg so far! It’s not easy finding places that are pet-friendly and still clean, neat, and up to standard—but this place ticked all the boxes. The cottages were super cosy, tidy, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were cleaned daily (sometimes even twice a day if needed ). The views are absolutely stunning—just what you want when escaping to the mountains. A big shoutout to Silindile and Sabello who were always around and happy to help with anything extra we needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain getaway that’s pet-friendly and well looked after, I’d definitely recommend giving this spot a try!

We had the pleasure of staying at Sani Valley Nature Lodge and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lodges are fantastic and the staff is extremely welcoming and efficient. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay and the property has game in the stay. You can enjoy boating and fishing. The best part about our stay was hot tub. Worth visiting!

This is a wonderful place. Peace and relaxation is on the agenda. Lovely well appointed comfortable lodges with amazing staff located on a huge dam with access to boats. We fished, hiked, birdwatched and had a fantastic time. Close to Sani Pass with spectacular views. 3 Nights was not enough.
