We stayed a week & were unimpressed with the rooms. For the price, we were expecting much better accommodation. In the bathroom, there were 2 wall posts to hang a towel on. There was no place to hang a hand towel or face cloth except in the shower. In the shower, the wall mounted shampoo, conditioner & liquid soap were so high, I stood on my tiptoes to reach them & it was a stretch & very dangerous. The carpet looked dirty & it never seemed clean. (I found pieces of lint, & small bits of paper around the edge of the bed.) There was always at least one elevator out of service. The 3 remaining elevators did well except when it was mealtime. Service at our Youth Luncheon was a disaster! The tables were the presenters who had to eat & get up to present or receive an award were supposed to be served first but were served last! The manager had been told which tables to serve first but that was ignored. The youth who had to read their essays or present the oration did an exceptional job considering they raced through their meal. The chicken parmesan was overcooked, dried out and a very large portion for lunch. The positives - people raved about the food. Our Welcome/Host Reception food was rated EXCELLENT by attendees! Banquet meals were also rated very good. Portion sizes were extremely large. Many people commented that they hated seeing so much food waste on people's plates.

My wife took me on a weekend trip for my birthday and we had a great time. The resort is beautiful, The rooms are immaculate, staff is very helpful and the resort has great amenities and fantastic restaurants.

We booked a suite in the Earth tower and it was gross. The bathroom had such a strong mold odor it was coming into the main area and gave my husband a headache within minutes. We complained and were told we were probably sensitive to the cleaners they use. As if cleaners smell like mold. There were stains on all the furniture and carpet. The air vents and other fixtures clearly hadn’t been dusted in years. All the furniture and baseboards were beat up. They wanted to switch us to another room. I wanted to cancel our reservation and find a place where cleanliness matters. We left to stay somewhere that had standards and wasn’t disgusting, but they still charged us the full 2 nights stay. If you want a clean place don’t stay here. I never leave a bad review if a place has good customer service and makes right on an issue but to charge someone $1000 because they don’t want to stay in a dirty establishment, is just wrong. I tried discussing with guest services and management to come to a reasonable resolution and they were rude and not helpful.

My wife surprised me with an overnight stay here. I had never been I was excited to have the experience. When we checked in our room was upgraded to a Luxe end suite!What a surprise! Super clean great view and amenities I then had a Balinese message at Mandara spa, that was incredible then dinner at the Michael Jordan restaurant. A truly unforgettable birthday and the best so far! I had an amazing time here with my wife. I will definitely be recommending this place to people I know.

I visit Mohegan Sun around 11:30pm on 3/14. I stopped at Starbucks to buy a drink. Manager Chrystal was very rude to me. She told me “you learn how to speak English before you order a drink. I can’t serve you any drink today.” I asked who is her boss “I am the manager. I am the boss here. Go to report the ******.” Her discrimination to a none native English speaking people like me is unacceptable, not only in Mohegan Sun, anywhere in USA.

We stayed in the Earth Tower in a corner suite on the 7th floor. One of the rooms with no adjacent neighbors which we selected on purpose. Word to the wise, make your reservation by calling rather than online because we ended up looking over the expansive rooftop hotel of the ******. Gotta love that view. Any lower and it would have been far worse but for what we paid I would have expected a higher floor. More problematic was the very erratic heating/cooling system in our suite. If you put it on 70, it would blast hot air to the point of being ridiculously hot. But if you set it to 69 the room would get downright frigid. Because of this, we requested extra blankets since our first night was so chilly with no middle ground on temp. There were no extra blankets in the room despite it having a pull-out sofa. So we did end up getting three very ratty and stringy blankets brought up to us the next day. On the plus side, the water pressure in the shower was great. But they really need to do something about that wacky room thermostat.

Two nights at my favorite ****** for my Birthday. The biggest surprise was they upgraded our room to a corner suite (not because of my Birthday either). Room service was efficient, polite and quick. The suite was indescribable, 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, walk in closet, bathroom with both shower and a tub with a window view. Did I mention corner room? Living room was spacious with a fireplace and shared with a round table and chairs to eat meals. Might I suggest including a microwave to reheat cooled coffee or leftovers. I also would like to add, the remote was hard to use, old maybe?? Very slow to scroll on the guide. Coffee in the room was actually better tasting than the pot we ordered from room service. Just my opinion. Ate at Tom’s where the drinks were spot on and the apps were plentiful. Now on to the machines. It’s been a long while since I visited Mohegan so imagine my surprise when I couldn’t find my favorites. If I saw one more Buffalo machine or an Asian machine I think I’d scream. I hate to admit this but Foxwoods has a better variety of machines and not the 100’s of the ones I already mentioned. All in all, I still give this a thumbs up and highly recommend staying here, will definitely come back.

Worst hotel ever. Sorry we came here. Service is awful. Disrespectful. Long lines. Impossible valet and parking. Never coming back. Stay away. Night manager William was unwilling to help make it right. Room was dirty and beds uncomfortable.
