Agnus Unawatuna is a little up into the hills, but the trip up is so worth it. The place is serene and the view is breathtaking; you get a top-down view of the ocean in all its glory, and you can even enjoy the view of the famous Galle Fort and Lighthouse from a distance. Service and amenities are amazing, and facilities are modern. Rooms are clean and well-equipped. It was a wonderful experience and the perfect place for a personal retreat! Would definitely come again if I have the chance, and have already recommended this place to some friends! Thank you!

In addition to the food and beverages, the service is relatively friendly and it is really bad. The hotel does not have a beach and there are reefs outside, and the swimming pool is small. The room facilities are ordinary and the soundproofing is poor, which affects the rest. The mountain road that came to scratched the car and was in a bad mood.

The main asset of this place is the staff. Everything. What was not noted when booking was the lack of glass in the windows. They are closed with decorative wooden shutters, as the hotel is decorated in a traditional style. But opening these shutters means listening to all the sounds that you can already hear quite well, and in the evening mosquitoes will fly in. Some people won’t notice, but I was in a small room with no windows, and without daylight it wasn’t very good. The mattress was comfortable. The breakfasts are good. The hotel team is pulling out all the stops, but renovation of the rooms is already required))

A super hotel with good facilities and a good location. The buffet breakfast is comparable to the standard of lunch and dinner. The hotel’s open-air saltwater swimming pool is clean and buoyant. It faces the sea and makes waves. It’s amazing. The family suite we stayed in, open the skylight, the sun shines in, it is too comfortable.

My review, of course, will not be about this hotel, but about the hotel of this chain, Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. We booked a room at the Thaproban Beach House Hotel, when we came to check in, it turned out that our reservation at this place was missing, and we had a reservation at the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. Thanks to the Trip.com team for helping us understand and resolve issues. And the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa turned out to be much better than the Thaproban Beach House. True, it is not on the beach, but the beach is 5-7 minutes away. The hotel is super, all the amenities, large rooms overlooking the ocean. Very tasty breakfasts, 2 swimming pools on site, one with salt water. In general, I highly recommend the hotel. We really liked it. And we never regretted that we moved into it.

Hotel room is a bit old, but very historical, the corridor in front of the room, the balcony is very characteristic, the surrounding environment is beautiful, breakfast is good, the hotel is a few hundred meters away from the beach, it is very convenient to walk, cost-effective.

The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, and you can have breakfast on the restaurant terrace overlooking the sea. The main point is that the service brother Nachi at the front desk is super warm and made my trip to Unawatuna in Sri Lanka a success. If you want to go to the airport and book your hotel, the price is right and the service is good.

The hotel is really small, a bit disappointing. I booked a two-night, two-bedroom apartment. I want to try to discuss with the manager whether I can only stay for one night. After a fruit, a uncle who wears a tattered vest, shorts, and unbridled is a manager, then speaks. It is also very rude, the attitude is too good, and the words are rude and can not directly say no. There are only 9 rooms, in the mountains, black and dark at night, our 4 women, do not dare to go out at night. There are two beaches near the hotel. It takes more than 15 minutes to walk, and we meet weekends. Many locals gather for dinner, drink, and we go to the beaches in the afternoon. All the way to the big local men, a little scared, go On the beach, I saw two European and American girls in swimsuits, and a group of men who drank alcohol, they left, and the hotel was in a good environment, the room was very comfortable, and the surrounding environment was really bad. Looking at the sea view on the mountain, but the geographical environment is really bad, travel dudu, only suitable for staying in the hotel all day~ Breakfast is an order, it is quite rich, the staff are male, except for the so-called manager, the attitude is very good.
