Un très joli petit hôtel nous noyé dans la verdure. Superbe accueil. Une belle équipe. Un petit déjeuner très complet. La piscine est magnifique entourée de verdure où l’on voit les singes se balader dans les arbres. C’est juste magnifique. Les chambres ont une magnifique salle de bain séparée donnant en extérieur. On peut toujours trouver des choses à redire dans ce genre d établissement mais il faut se rappeler que nous ne sommes pas en Europe et qu il y a toujours quelques petits détails qui doivent être mis de côté. C’est un excellent choix, très proche de la plage et idéal pour faire des excursions de partout. Toute la famille a adoré une belle expérience, je recommence fortement.

The place itself is a nice little hotel. The staff are lovely and it’s a few minutes walk to the beach. The problem is our room absolutely stank of damp. It’s unsaturated into the mattresses. We asked for new sheets as they were actually damp and the staff were more then happy to change them and the pillows. Still doesn’t help the small. We had to buy some incense to cover up the smell. For this reason alone I wouldn’t come back here. I understand it’s a very humid country but you’ve gotta sort out the damp.

This is the most beautiful small hotel up a quiet side street. The place is spotless and the staff are friendly but not at all intrusive. There is amazing wildlife everywhere, which we absolutely love. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away and there are always tuk tuks at the end of the lane for any trips further afield. Down side is there’s no fridge in the room but the staff were happy to keep the drinks we had bought in the main fridge for us

Hôtel ou l’on se sent comme chez soi. Service exceptionnel, disponibilité tout le personnel est admirable. Romantique, Exotique et relaxation. Vous trouverez tout dans un rayon d’un kilomètre. Un vrai paradis et havre de paix. Le plaisir de voir un ballet de chimpanzés tous les matins.

Приятный небольшой отель в районе левой оконечности центрального пляжа. До океана 3-4 мин., рядом много неплохих кафе. Большой номер с террасой, супер-душем (постарайтесь взять номер на втором этаже), очень приветливый персонал, вкусные завтраки, бассейн, природа, тихо. Да, отель немного дороже, чем стандартные гостевые дома поблизости, но он того стоит. Настоятельно рекомендуем.

Our stay at Hotel Aurora in Unawatuna was absolutely wonderful! The hotel offers a serene atmosphere with a pool, spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, and everything was impeccably clean. It’s also just a short walk from the beach, and there are plenty of great dining options just a few minutes away, which was super convenient. Highly recommend this hotel! 100% worth the stay!

This hotel was great value for money, the rooms are very clean and modern. I stayed with my sister for two nights and it had everything we needed, little bar fridge to keep you water nice and cold, a ceiling fan and air con, balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were very friendly and booked a taxi for us on our last day which was very helpful. Only downside is there isn't an onsite restaurant in the evenings, but you are a short walk from Unawatuna beach and 'high street' with plenty of options. They also don't have the option for a twin room which didn't bother us but might be a issue for some people!

Lovely accommodation and pool tucked away from the main road. We had an outside shower for our room which was perfect for the climate. No catering beyond a set breakfast. A couple of minor maintenance glitches did not detract from our stay. Track to main road unlit, take care of puddles of walking. Would visit again. Turtle beach is a 20 min walk or short tuk-tuk east.

I really liked the hotel - small (only 7 rooms), cozy, beautiful green area, with a swimming pool and sun loungers, good comfortable rooms, everyone has already written about the outdoor shower with palm trees))) Clean, good breakfast, very friendly staff, helpful for all requests. Located near the main road, but you can’t hear it at all, only the sounds of nature - you’ll definitely get some sleep))) and the beach is across the road, a few minutes walk. All major entertainment (restaurants, shops) are 5 minutes away by tuk-tuk or 20 minutes on foot. Definitely recommend for a long holiday!
