If you want somewhere that has its own little beach, steps away from your room without the crowds, this is the place. We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were quite basic but this is Sri Lanka. It had a massive bed which was very comfortable, decent size bathroom with shower. It had a restaurant for breakfast or for drinks during the day if you fancied. The beach is at the far end of Unawatuna but closer enough to get to the resort either 5 minutes along the beach or by tut tut. The owner was very kind and generous. We had our own sunbeds which were steps away from the beach where you could go snorkeling

This was a really cool hotel. We stayed here on Valentine’s Day because we went to a show in the Walker theater and it was close by. I love the retro design. We had the tiki suite and it had a sitting area with a fireplace and it was so nice to sit by the fire after we’d been out walking in the cold. If you’re looking for something with a cool vibe and a lot of character, give this place a look.

Lovely quaint hotel. Staff superb. Stayed with my husband for a regatta downtown Chattanooga and absolutely loved it. Able to walk to nearby dining options for dinner - many options. Also shopping nearby. Will absolutely choose to stay here again!

NYE stay
Had a wonderful stay. Staff was very personable, friendly and helpful. The room was amazing! Bonus, they had a NYE party for guest which was fun.

Top notch
Love this hotel. It was our first stay for our wedding. The best personal customer service I have ever received at a hotel. It is intimate in size, the bar is stylish and tasty, and the beds were very comfortable. Even though it is valet parking only, each valet was more than accomodating, careful with our vehicles, and quick. This will be our go-to hotel any time we stay in Chattanooga.

Stay at The Dwell
From the moment I got to The Dwell, I was in love. A bellman took my bags to my room whilst telling me the history of the hotel. I was just obsessed with the entire experience. I will be back!

Outstanding staff 24 hrs, nice tub, separate closets for toilet and shower, quiet, luxurious bed, wood floors everywhere, 5 star hotel all around. I wish there more Design Hotels worldwide, I'd stay nowhere else.
