I enjoyed my trip to Durban South Africa and staying at the nice hotel of Holiday Inn Express. Even though it was a little chilly the staff and housekeeping was very nice and understanding maintenance staff came right away to fix the heating in my room. Since I left before 6pm breakfast time they order me grab and go to enjoy my trip. Very rewarding and would stay again when I return in December

Every time I come to Durban, I live here. Like the breakfast here, it's easy to eat the fat one. The hotel has a large number of guest rooms and often encounters various guest stories. The room is fortunate. Although the decoration is similar, some rooms will have ants.

The resort has good facilities although there is no longer access to the nature reserve. The rooms are dated. Bath tubs seem to be from the 1990s. Furthermore, there are several rules and restriction’s about use of facilities, visitors and room allocation which are subject to management’s discretion. Some rules are enforced by smooth talking security guards who can ‘help you avoid a hefty fine’ for a small service fee. I understand the importance of rules in running a large resort however leaving their enforcement to the discretion of *****s is even more dangerous.

The hotel is very beautiful with a spacious view. The breakfast was delicious!! Moreover, the location of the hotel is the best part because it’s a walking distance to gateway mall. I’ll definitely come back.

Hotel location is good, close to the sea, the sea is 500 meters away, clean and suitable for business trips!

A great hotel, fair price, amazing and friendly stuff. Great food, great view, and near amenities. It gives the best feeling of Umhlanga and Durban North.
