The room I had originally booked was stuffy, however when I let the staff members know they were quick to respond by moving me to a different room and did their best to make me comfortable in the new room. All in all, it was really a nice stay.

ACHTUNG: Bettwanzen Wir sind spät eingeschickt und haben eine Nacht im Hotel verbracht. Am nächsten Tag musste ich diverse sich entzündete Bettwanzenstiche feststellen. Nein, es waren keine Moskitostiche ! Es gab keine Moskitos und ich wurde an Stellen gestochen, an denen kein anderes Tier stechen kann. Wir haben dann versucht mit der Hotelmanagerin zu sprechen. Sie war nicht da. Das Personal gab uns eine Handynummer. Dort konnten wir niemanden erreichen. Wir sind dan ausgezogen. Abends wurden wir von der Hotelmanagerin zurückgerufen. Sie lebt in Kapstadt und war auch dort. Sie hat kein Verständnis für die Situation und bestand auf unsere Buchung für drei Tage. Eine Erstattung hat sie abgelehnt. Unfassbar. Meine Fotos zeigen die wirklichen Zustand des Gebäudes. Die Fotos der Unterkunft müssen 10 Jahre alt sein, mindestens.

A beautifully located house - a few minutes to the sea and restaurants. The pictures you see on their website is exactly what you get in person. The staff is amazing - very polite, helpful and accommodating. Not forgetting the delicious breakfast they serve! Thank you to Pro and team for a very warm welcome and pleasant stay at Valdior.

There has been a change in ownership at this guest house. The maintenance standards have dropped significantly. No light on the front porch, only one gate working (wobbling) not both. The balcony room door did not unlock, the USB ports don’t work, soap low in the bathroom, shower floods the floor. Sign inside asks guests to keep the front door locked, yet every time I used the door it was unlocked. No provision for load shedding back up - not even the wifi! For the second time the credit card machine is in for repair so an EFT or cash is required. The interior is showing its age. It’s time for an update. Despite promising to fix the balcony door it remains broken!

Very nice establishment but they ae not geared up for the business market. The rating is this context. There is no desk in the room and an early breakfast was not possible. The contact number on the booking form is incorrect and needs updating

Thando is very welcoming and made me feel at home. I arrived very late and starving on my first day and she welcomed me with a smile and offered me a meal and wine. The BnB is beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was scrumptious. I will definitely book there again when in uMhlanga.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay there. The staff made sure my stay was very comfortable, I enjoyed the sea view. The place is very calm, clean and comfortable. It has a homely feel to it. I truly enjoyed my stay at Valdior.
