Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht in diesem traumhaften Guesthouse. Wir hatten ein riesiges Zimmer mit einem großen Bad und Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen- top Matratzen. Zum Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl und zusätzlich frisch gemachte Crêpes. Alles sehr lecker. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen.

We spent three separate nights at Fairlight en route to and from the airport and trips, and it was the perfect place to stopover. The location is beautiful overlooking the ocean, and the rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet with sea views. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice in a light and airy room, and the service was brilliant. Colin and his staff were consistently welcoming and helpful, so that we felt completely at home each time we stayed. There are good restaurants within easy walking distance. Thank you

Superb guesthouse on the seafront ! A warm welcome that makes you feel right at home. Very quiet location, with secure parking and several restaurants in the same area. We stayed in room Roxane (as well as the room next door for the children). The room is magnificent, bright and spacious, and the bedding is very comfortable. There's also a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the ocean view.

Great stay
Fantastic location on the beach. Listen to the waves crashing. Very friendly staff and manager was very willing to help with my late check in and with me leaving my phone charger behind. Definitely recommend.

My friends and I stayed two nights at the Fairlight, booking 3 separate rooms for our party of 6 people. The Fairlight served as a wonderful base for birding around Durban. It was close to King Shaka (DUR) airport, as well as several good birding spots - Umdloti lagoon, Umhlanga lagoon, Mount Moreland IBA, and Sebaya Conservancy. The rooms were delightful, the breakfast delicious, and the balcony views of the Indian Ocean were absolutely spectacular! I highly recommend this lovely B&B.

We highly recommend the Fairlight Beach House. We booked for 2 nights but stayed for 4 nights because it was so good! Bruce and the staff made us feel welcome and everything was perfect. The aircons were great because the weather was hot and humid.
