EuroParcs Poort Van Amsterdam

We stayed at Europarc port van Amsterdam, Uitdam for 3 nights with a group of middle aged friends in early July 2025 . We were very happy with our large detached house Westertoren sauna 12 booked through air B&B . The property was clean & spacious with 2 comfortable single beds in each bedroom with a small wardrobe/storage cupboard for each bedroom. Enough sockets in rooms but could have done with a mirror in the bedrooms. 2 large bathrooms with toilets on 1st floor one with bath and one with shower and sauna room, 1 en suite shower room in ground floor bedroom with separate toilet in ground floor hallway. Large well appointed kitchen and open plan sitting room with large sofa and chairs. Nice garden with tables and chairs for eating alfresco with little jetty at end of garden. We enjoyed using the swimming pool,free tokens for entry and exit to the pool from little convenience/take away shop. We used public transport to get to the site. It took us around an hour from Amsterdam central station using train and bus including a 15-20 min walk from the Aansluiting Markerdijk bus stop to the house. We found the 9292 app useful for transport info.

Very disappointing accommodation experience – serious hygiene and maintenance issues We were very disappointed with our stay at the holiday park. The condition of the accommodation was unacceptable and not what one would expect from a place advertised as relaxing and family-friendly. • Both couches were visibly dirty and stained. • The dishwasher was not working, and the available dishes were still dirty. • The lower bed had a very strong smell of urine – absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable. • The drains were completely blocked, making it impossible to take a proper shower. • The outdoor electrical socket was defective and potentially dangerous. • The outdoor tables were broken and unusable. • The water tap in the sauna was leaking badly. • One window in the bedroom could not be opened. We reported the issues, but nothing was properly resolved during our stay. This is not the standard guests should be expected to accept, especially for the price charged. The general maintenance and hygiene standards were far below what’s reasonable. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes urgent improvements to both the facilities and how such complaints are handled.

DO NOT GET FOOD HERE, disgusting and revolting- a waste of money. VERY VERY VERY Disappointing- We are here for a football tournament - starving since arrived. I will definitely lose weight, even I don’t want too. Worst I have ever had. Disgusting!
