Borgo Mulino A Vento lived up to expectations. The resort is every bit as good as it looks in the images. Cant fault any part of the facilities, staff and service, dining and bar services and we had a very nice 4 day stay. We will definitely return. But, in the interests of being open to help others enjoy this wonderful peaceful resort, we will try to avoid weekends/local school holiday periods. The last two days of our stay were disrupted when big family groups with children descended upon the resort and in particular the pool area was transformed into a busy/noisy Lido all day and it was impossible to relax in and around the pool. Special mention to Guisepe in the wine bar, Sara on reception and Daniela on events, who all helped to make out visit special.

We had the most magical experience at Borgo Mullina a Vento. The property was beautiful, the food was incredible and the staff were warm and helpful. It was so nice to come back to the hotel and relax at the pool after our excursions. We loved every minute of our stay. We will definitely be back!

We’ve stayed at Borgo Mulino a Vento twice already—on two different summers—and that says a lot, because we usually never go back to the same place twice. But this one was worth it, and we’re sure we’ll return again. Both times we spent a full week there and loved every minute. We love vacationing in Italy and have explored much of the country, but this accommodation and its surroundings have become one of our all-time favorites. There are plenty of great sights and activities in the area (a car is definitely helpful), but we also truly enjoyed just relaxing at the property itself—delicious food, excellent cocktails, and service that was even better than we could have hoped for. The entire staff was amazing. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing stay. We’ll definitely be back!

A gem
What a joy to discover this family-run resort that clearly promotes the local community. The pool is huge and the resort is super-cosy. A terrific base for discovering Salento and easy access to both coasts. Whether you’re a family, couple, or solo, you will feel at home.

As a family of four we stayed in the Mulino a Vento for 3 nights in July. We had two rooms which were spacious with the added advantage of having a decent sized fridge which was useful for water and a few snacks. The staff were accommodating in ensuring we had twin beds for the teenagers. The resort is spread out into a little village style and it is maintained well and is very clean. There is a nice big pool and a bar area near by which serves lunch. The open restaurant area is separate and we ate there twice for dinner. It was very pleasant although for pickier eaters there may be limited choices. The menu changes daily but there is also an a la carte offering. The hotel organised a cookery demonstration one day, a trip to the old oil mill the next ( with an interpreter who was very nice as was the Italian lady from the hotel ) and also wine tasting. I recommend doing the tour to the old oil mill. It is very interesting. Otranto is 6 km away and we ate there one night. I would also recommend doing that for a change of scene. We had a lovely relaxing time and I hope to return in the future.

This was a perfect place to have a holiday in Puglia (Salento). The accommodation was quite big (50 rooms) , very clean and beautiful (nice garden, swimming pool and sun-beds comfortable, the room was cool and tidy, ..) . You could see that people thought about every detail. The people were all very friendly and really gave you the feeling to be more than welcome. Breakfast and restaurant (evening) were great. We also had the pleasure to join an evening with a buffet (in the garden) with local food and live music and dance. Thanks to all of you!
