This is a good standard hotel and well centrally located.
The breakfast buffet is excellent with a large choice for both Thai and western visitors.
The main restaurant was good with a varied international menu and the service staff friendly and personable.
The hotel lobby food supplied by the Wuff and Munch restaurant was disappointing and lacked any flavour.
The amenities in the hotel were generally good with the gym being very well equipped.
The entertainment in the hotel used to be very lively but now seems to be reduced to a single piano player and lacked and true atmosphere.
The hotel cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful and provided a good cleaning service.
I was charged for a small glass breakage caused accidentally by my son cleaning his teeth oat checkout although not a significant amount was disappointing considering my stay was for 15 nights.
Unfortunately this type of checkout experience leaves a negative impact upon leaving the hotel.
The staycation is awesome for the first time here. It’s very near to night market or walking street Udon. Also near Central Udon and Nong Prajak where’s the Yellow duck there! Hopefully. Who needs nice hotel. It’s here for your privacy time and priorities.

This hotel is located near the bus and train station. You also got a shopping mall nearby, and 7 eleven and McDonald's is close. International breakfast. The staff is very polite and helpful.
Staff very nice and professional. Restaurant is amazing. However, very disappointed that even room have balcony you can’t open it and also can’t open the window in the room for the airflow which is very downside. Also this hotel doesn’t have gym and pool. If you want to go exercise there is a gym outside the hotel around 2 mins walk & pay 150 bath each time per visit.
I’ve always stayed at Centara Udon whenever I visited Udon Thani, but this time, I decided to try something different and booked Clay Udon.
The street outside was quiet at night, unlike the livelier surroundings of Centara. Which, on some nights, I could still hear music from nearby pubs until around 3 a.m.
The room door at Clay Udon might need better soundproofing — on my last night, I could even hear my neighbour snoring!
Thankfully, I always pack earplugs, so overall, the stay was still comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. I wouldn’t mind staying here again, especially since it’s slightly more affordable than Centara.
I had a great stay at Civilize Hotel during my business trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional service was top-notch! The room was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location is convenient, close to restaurants and city spots, which made getting around easy. The hotel’s amenities were excellent and made the stay even more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place for business travelers looking for a cozy yet efficient stay.
The hotel is easy to find, the entrance is convenient, there is a lot of parking, but it's outdoors, not indoors. There are a lot of amenities. There is also a swimming pool. And in the room there is a hair dryer, a sofa, a nice spacious room, and cleanliness is good. In the morning, tea, coffee, and bread are available on the ground floor on the first floor. Overall, it's worth the price.
Great central location with ample parking. The air conditioning was excellent and kept the room very cool.
However, the TV picture was incredibly blurry. I find it astonishing that in 2025, a hotel still has TVs with such poor, pixelated images.
Furthermore, the tap water had a very strong, fishy smell.
The accommodation is very nice, with 3 bedrooms, kitchen and 2 bathrooms.
the house is clean, the owner is very nice and nice,i will stay again if i have a chance

Amazing
JJETSADA264515Carlinton Hotel It is a new, clean hotel. But it doesn't keep much sound, so when you're in the room you can hear the sounds from outside very clearly, both talking and walking. But the overall condition of the hotel is quite new, the beds or equipment inside are still new and complete. It's close to the city. You can order a mattress. Delivery available via Gap Food Food Panda.
JJesustongzOffers a comfortable stay in the heart of Udon Thani. The location is ideal, just a short walk from UD Town. Rooms are well-maintained, and the staff provides attentive service. The quiet atmosphere and nice pool make it a great spot to unwind.
EEarnest SeowIncredible value for money. Great location. 1km from Central Udon. Clean, strong air-conditioning, warm & strong shower. Friendly owner with a great personality. Not staying anywhere else in Udon!
GGuest UserI always stay there as family of 4 but this time for the very first time disappointed and couldn’t sleep all night due to the second attached room aircon having this strong smell couldn’t sleep all night. And early morning at 6 when finally about to sleep there were birds sound nonstop making us all awake since 6 am. Really bad night for the first time here.
GGuest UserThe facilities are old, but the bathrooms are clean and the atmosphere is like an old Thai inn.
The restaurant right next to the entrance is a famous local restaurant in the Isan area. Teppanyaki and pork dishes are also good for Korean tastes. It's right across from Udon Town, so it's great for shopping or eating.
PPimodismimigirlI stayed at this hotel for a short trip and found the location to be very convenient. It’s within walking distance to the bus terminal and Central shopping mall, which made getting around super easy. The hotel also has good parking space, which is a plus for those traveling by car.
The room was clean and tidy, but there were a few downsides. There’s no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, it might be a bit of a hassle. The amenities provided were very minimal — just two bottles of water and two small bars of soap. There was no tissue paper in the bathroom, which was quite inconvenient.
One thing to note is that when you check in, you need to leave a 100 baht cash deposit for the key. You’ll get it back when you check out, but it’s something to keep in mind.
The staff didn’t seem to speak much English and weren’t particularly friendly, which made communication a little difficult.
Overall, the location and cleanliness were good, but the lack of basic amenities and service left something to be desired.
KKifTraveling requires going down a slight alley. But it is considered not far from the main road. There is a lot of space from the car. It's convenient. The rooms are cutely decorated. The mattress is very soft. There are many pillows provided. But the room is not soundproof. I heard a lot of noise outside. There is a swimming pool available and there is also a cafe inside the hotel.
