Extraordinary Huts Ltd

Wow! What can you say about this place? It’s magical, awesome and such a fantastic retreat! It is what you make it. You can chose to absorb the natural surroundings of fields, sheep, use the fire pit for cooking and just look at the wonder of nature, or you can venture into Hastings, rye and the surrounding areas. We did a bit of both! We stayed for 2 nights, and have just returned home. It’s so peaceful, with everything you need, nicely located in the hut! Going to bed was a venture, climbing up the winding green stairs (we stayed in The Hive) and crawling to bed! You can’t stand up upstairs, but it is so awesomely put together, it’s wonderful Johnny, the host was very very responsive - and sorted things (the pilot light went out once, so we had no hot water momentarily) within, literally moments! Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook! Do it! It’s an adventure you won’t want to miss!

Had booked The Hive for two nights but after viewing the description of the place was not what I expected at no time did it mention the bedroom area anyone over 5ft would have to crawl around on all fours as the ceiling is so low my husband is 6ft 4 so was not a good place for him to be also the iron staircase is so narrow Ok if your a size 8/10 but no good for larger ladies The first night I slept on the settee as the thought of sleeping with the ceiling so close to my face would of been like being in a coffin This place is not cut out for older people steep steps up to the property The walk in shower and toilet are no bigger than a broom cupboard The area is beautiful and oversell if you can look through the other bits lovely pub a short walk away through the woods The Plough Don’t expect too much from the Hive not even toast for breakfast no toaster as no electricity ,very basic and odd cups and plates

We wanted quiet, peaceful, beautiful, unique and considerate and that’s what we got. To be woken up by pheasants and lambs, dinner at The Plough, logs being burnt inside and out and amazing views and walks… it was all there.

A tranquil, peaceful setting in the countryside with beautiful views the hut was idyllic with everything you could need to get away from it all and relax. The Hive has been beautifully decorated and is very cozy with a lovely log fire. The fire pit is a great addition. There is a lovely pub and farm shop/cafe serving delicious homemade food within walking distance and it is situated within a 10 minute drive from the lovely Rye itself.

Simply brilliant! Fantastic stay! Incredible location with the most picturesque views. Lovely to relax and spend some time away from the stresses of every day life. Johnny, the owner was very friendly and extremely helpful when we had a question. Couldn’t recommend any higher you will love it!

A little piece of Heaven This has to be the most incredible place I have ever stayed in. This place has been created with love from the soul, to turn a dream into reality. This really is a magical place where you forget the world outside, relax and find you again. We loved it so much we booked within an hour of returning home !
