Nous sommes un jeune couple et sommes resté une seule nuit dans ce resort. L'accueil était chaleureux et nous avons été directement pris en charge par le propriétaire des lieux et une employée. Etant les seuls clients, nous avons pu choisir l'heure du repas ainsi que du petit déjeuner. Au moment du repas nous avons très bien mangé il s'agissait du Rice and curry traditionnel. Cependant, le propriétaire, une personne de petite taille et chauve, est resté à notre table durant tout le repas et nous regardait manger. Ceci à rendu le dîner un peu gênant. Il nous a également proposé à plusieurs reprises d'aller nous baigner dans la piscine du resort, à tel point, que nous avons trouvé cela insistant. Aux alentours de 22h00 ce Monsieur toque à notre chambre pour nous donner le code de la Wifi, nous montrer qu'il y avait une climatisation et prendre le numéro de ma fiancée pour que nous puissions le joindre à n'importe quelle heure en cas de problème. Nous avons trouvé cela bizarre surtout après un SMS souhaitant à ma fiancée "Bonne nuit et faites de beaux rêves Madame" Le petit déjeuner était copieux, nous avons eu droit à la visite de singes dans les arbres. En bref endroit très chaleureux, très joli, proche du parc national d'Udawalawe, le propriétaire est aux petits soins (peut être un peu de trop..) et prendra même des nouvelles de ma fiancée par appel lors de notre retour en France ! 🫠 Même si cela part sûrement d'un bon sentiment, ne nous en voulez pas nous avons bloqué son numéro...

Beautiful resort, tough to find though. You must have a google map. Pool is very beautiful. Manager is well behaved and try to serve at his level best. Food is the worst one that I have in my life. So ill cooked, ill prepared. They are under staffed, I have even seen manager cleaning the room and dining table. The cook isn’t a professional one. It seemed like some first timer tried his hand in cooking. There was no tea maker in the room, manager arranged one personally after my request. Water heater cant be controlled, it just increases heat over time. Food quality should be taken care of as there are no other places to eat nearby.

Wir waren hier als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern, um den Udawalawe Nationalpark zu besichtigen. Die Anlage liegt recht versteckt, ist aber schön angelegt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Managerin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Leider versteht das Personal außer der Managerin kaum Englisch, was manchmal schwierig ist. Der Pool war schön, aber schon leicht trüb und es gab nicht genug Liegen. Das Frühstück war gut.

Hôtel très bien situé dans un parc avec une très belle piscine au milieu. L’accueil est très bon, les chambres spacieuses et propres. Nous étions en chambre double et triple. La restauration était bien, petit déjeuner classique et carte pour dîner riche et locale. Nous recommandons cet hôtel.

Just like everyone we only came to Udawalawe see the elephants, but we also discovered such a green and peaceful place to stay, away from the crowds. Dinusha was so welcoming, making sure the food was just right for us and helped us with local information. Evening times we relaxed on veranda to the sounds of the river, peacocks calling and monkeys in the trees. Simple rooms, simple food, fantastic.

Très bien, quelques logements récemment rénovés, service au top: dîner dans l'espace de verdure au bord de l'eau, extra ! Nous avons également apprécié la mise à disposition d'une "box" pour le petit déjeuner à emporter car nous sommes partis tôt le matin pour un safari. Et au retour nous avons pu à nouveau profiter un peu de la piscine avant de repartir.

Very pleasant establishment near the Udawalawa reserve. It is made up of small lodges in which you will enjoy a beautiful bedroom and a large bathroom. To relax, the establishment has a beautiful swimming pool. The service is remarkable! We enjoyed a candlelit dinner, as delicious as it was romantic. THANKS :)

We went to this hotel for a party on May 1. We only asked for lunch for our package. When we finished the party and went to eat at around 3 pm, the owner told us that they removed the food because we were late😡. This work was done without even informing us. They gave the food they gave to the foreigners who had come. This is a bad hotel. The service is useless👎👎👎
