The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace

I was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel. It’s on a hill overlooking Fateh, Sagar Lake and the Nehru Gardens. Breathtaking views of the hills and the lake. Do take morning walks by the lake. The property has a path that leads you to the lake and until 8:30 AM the traffic is blocked so that people can walk and exercise at the lakefront. Do not miss that. About the property it’s I believe what used to be a Palace guesthouse for the Maharana where he would sign business and financial deals. That’s why the name Lakshmi. The staff is amazing right from the top the general manager, Mr. Devendra Parihar he made sure we were treated like VIPs.The front office management which included Suraj Singh and the restaurant team, which was headed by Navneet and was supported by Gaurav and Ashish. We were also looked after really well by Shahbaz at breakfast and Rita. Rita is very hard working she was at our breakfast one morning at our lunch another day and dinner the third. She served us always with a smile. We had a birthday celebration and Navneet really made the birthday dinner special with the table decoration and a surprise cake. Gaurav, who was there at our lunch and dinner knew exactly how we liked the food and recommended dishes to our liking. Do not miss dinner at Aangan. It is the best restaurant I think this side of town with the best view. Will definitely 100% come back and now tempted to visit other Lalit properties !

I had such a nice time at LaLit with my family, that all loved it. The room is very clean and the decor is beautiful. The bed was so nice and everyone had a great sleep. The breakfast was amazing, there were so many options, the quality of food was great and the service was superb. All the staff are really friendly and understanding and I wish we had stayed longer!

Stayed at this property during the long weekend of 15th August. Its a beautiful palace converted to a hotel just opposite Fateh Sagar Lake. Has stunning view of the lake with beuatiful lawns for walking and jogging. However the propert requires maintenance. Our room’s bathroom lock was not working, fan was not working and there were other electrical issues. This is not expected from a 5 star property. Service levels were pretty good after initial hiccups when the staff were unable to give us an In room dining menu for 45 minutes. Overall an average experience

Good maintained professionally managed property with beautiful view of the enchanting fateh sager Lake. Good calm and serene location to unwind from the daily rustle

The property has the great location. We have been welcome here by the Vaijayanti Garland by their team. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast has lot of options.

The Lalit Laxmi vilas palace hotel has best Fateh Sagar Lake view. Hotel is spread over 26 acres with greenary all around and it has only 55 rooms and many are lake view rooms. Rooms are spacious and BF is adequate but improvement is required in food quality. Staffs cooperative. One Al fresco restaurant. Worth every penny for the view it commands. It is 115 years old palace. You can have your BF outside in lawn overlooking Fateh sagar lake and cool breeze as hotel is at elevation. Worth visiting hotel for a tea / coffee even if one is not staying at hotel.
