The service at this hotel was very good. We were not happy with our rooms but they went out of their way to accommodate us. The groups and setting within the palace are beautiful and the food at breakfast was fresh. They were happy to make anything on request. We didn't use the pool facilities but it looked welcoming.

Shiv Nivas is a beautiful place and staff are very friendly and specially the breakfast staff Lalu Ram . However the rooms are a let down ,definitely need updating,the fridge and the fan makes a racket at night and bathroom is so outdated. Beds could be a bit more comfortable.

We have spent two weeks travelling through Rajasthan but this was the worst of 6 hotels we stayed in. We were initially given a Palace room but upgraded to a suite. The Palace rooms are cramped and very tired. The Suite was much better as it gave us space to enjoy however ….. the bathroom has had a small makeover but it’s still way below what you would expect for this amount of money. The tiles are from the Seventies, the grouting around the bath panel is a complete botch. A scale is there but doesn’t work. It’s a Jacuzzi bath but doesn’t work! The fridge is very good but there are no drinks to buy - NO MINIBAR! The view from our room is great and some of the other parts of the area are wonderful and the breakfast is okay. If you’re feeling flush - a small Corona beer is 600 rupees. We ate out every night as there are lots of good restaurants nearby - Charcoal is very good with an incredible view and super cheap. Ambrai on the other side of the water is also very good.

Old palace adjoining the City Palace Museum, in an excellent location. Unfortunately the quality of the rooms in no way corresponded to the price paid. Also the view was not to the lake, as we had expected. The restaurant was good, very well decorated, delicious food, and good service, as was breakfast.

Location of the hotel is excellent. Services and response of all employees are too good. The concerning part was only the size of bed and a. C. Ac was right upon our head and on 2nd day the cooling was not there. Food is too costly and against costing quantity is very little. Except this everything was beyond our expectations.

This restaurant was an absolute delight, and the service made it even more special! Our server, RamSinghji , went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully plated.

The restaurant offers a refined, elegant atmosphere. The lighting is warm and welcoming, with chic décor that complements the luxury setting. The seating is spacious and comfortable, making it perfect for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. The attention to detail in the design creates a serene dining environment. Service: The service is impeccable, as expected from a 5-star hotel. From the moment we entered, the staff were attentive, polite, and well-informed about the menu. Our server made excellent wine pairing suggestions, and the timing between courses was perfectly paced, allowing us to fully savor each dish without feeling rushed. Special thanks to Raam Singh Ji . Food: The dish was a delightful introduction to the meal. The presentation was visually stunning, with vibrant colors and meticulous plating. The flavors were well-balanced making this a refreshing and flavorful start.
