We have been staying at this hotel whenever we visit udaipur. The hotel is now operated by radiant globus, mother company to golden tulip, udaipur. The hotel which is operated by radiant glob-us doesn't have professional services now. Earlier, golden tulip was providing excellent services. There was a technical glitch in dates in our case and to my surprise was very cooperative and was ready to change the dates but said that the hotel has to approve the change. To our surprise the hotel wasn't ready to do so and was passing time to not approve it. After a lot of requests with my aging parent's, the hotel owner agreed. Thank god! they were trying to make us re-book the day. I felt, after golden tulip brand not being there, the hotel has lesser traffic in terms of customers and tries to make maximum from what is existing with them. The next day, for which we had already booked, they said the hotel rooms have been booked on single occupancy by us and charged us for 3 more guests. I felt cheated here. Every hotel room is usually double occupancy basis, so one shouldn't charge. They charged us saying since you have one adult written in one room we will charge extra for each person. They charged us 5040 more for three adults. tried to help, but in vain. The food is average, the service is not up to the mark. Be careful when you book in this case. Be accurate about the number of adults, dates and all.
