So first of all I want to share this trip is very amazing and I and my husband had so much fun and ram pratap hotel is too good for stay because amenities is too good as well as staff nature is friendly. Thank you visit again .. nice city Udaipur……..

This Hotel is a old Haveli hotel that has NOT been upgraded and is a BASIC hotel and not a value for the money you pay. Pay extra and go to a better place. The Restaurant location is nice but their services is very much oriented to weather you look like a non-Indian or not. They go head over heals for foreign tourists but are very lackluster in service if you look like being of Indian Origin. They did not even give us cutlery till we asked 3-4 times, asked us to take water and glasses to our table while they were beating each other to serve a bunch of foreigners in the next table (Ofcourse you should serve them but serve us too) The rooms do not have Hair dryers (you have to ask and their excuse it that it is a electric shock risk), The Bell boys disappeared when we wanted our luggage to be taken to the car (I carried 5 bags to my car as the receptionist kept looking at me not even offering that I wait for the bell boy after I asked for bellboy help). Room service sent me cold food after 45 minutes of placing order (At order time did not even mention that there will be a delay) and when asked why the delay - He said something to the effect that it is the way it is (in Hindi - he said hoota hein). When I complained the GM came and spoke nicely offering me and my family a dinner at the restaurant (where we were treated badly on two occasions) which I refused. I clearly said that if they wanted to make things better for my stay they should offer better service for the rest of the stay and offer monetary compensation for which the GM suddenly felt powerless. As I was checking out I found out that they wanted me to pay for the cold food and the bad services I had at the restaurant and after reminding them about the service they begrudgingly comped me on that. It was our first time in Udaipur .... There are tons of better hotels with better location (near Lake Pichola)....Pick them up...This Hotel is Bad news.....

It's pleasure stay and scenic view. Crowd is very decent and high std. Restaurant taste is very traditional and cultural. Hotel service was good then what I expected. Quite posh area and isolated. Price is decent.....thank you visit again...
