Alaya resort staff truly went above and beyond to make my wife’s birthday celebration special. They helped arrange a lovely surprise with flower petal decorations, a delicious birthday cake, and a beautiful rose bouquet (available at an extra cost). The resort's location is also excellent, situated right beside fantastic cafes like Pison, where we enjoyed a discount of 10%! Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and it comes with impeccable housekeeping service twice a day. Every detail was taken care of, making our two nights stay truly relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Alaya Resort for its exceptional service and fantastic location.

Great Stay We had a great time at Element Ubud. The staff were super friendly and helpful, though some could improve their English a bit. Big shoutout to William at breakfast, he was super attentive, spoke great English, and totally got what we needed and more.

My stay at The Kenran in Ubud was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel at home. The reception team was incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process and always ready to assist with any requests. The restaurant staff were equally outstanding, providing impeccable service with genuine hospitality. Every meal was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, making dining a truly enjoyable experience. The room itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. But the highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view—waking up to the lush greenery and serene surroundings was an unforgettable experience. Every staff member we encountered, from housekeeping to the concierge, went above and beyond to make our stay special. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction truly set The Kenran apart. If you’re looking for a tranquil and luxurious escape in Ubud, I highly recommend The Kenran. Every single stay of mine with the Aman hotels is wonderful and unforgettable. Amandari is no exception. I found an extraordinary sense of peace and tranquility as I sat by the hotel's pool, gazing out at the lush green trees in the distance. As always, the rooms at Aman were spacious yet cozy and elegantly refined. The staff, dressed in traditional Indonesian attire, attended to us so thoughtfully that it seemed I had nothing to worry about except savoring the serene, peaceful moments.

Goya Boutique Resort is such a chill and beautiful spot right in the heart of Ubud. The views from the infinity pool are unreal—like you’re floating in the jungle—and the rooms are super comfy with a nice, modern feel. It’s quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to walk into town if you want to explore. The staff were all super friendly, and the food was way better than I expected. Honestly, it’s one of those places you wish you booked for a few more nights.

Very quiet place, the surrounding is beautiful. Had a damp smell in the room but for us was ok for 2 days. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot. Even had a tea kettle. Good for the price.

Very good hotel in Ubud with decent pricing. Breakfast has good spread with friendly service. Front desk is also very helpful. Room and overall hotel is a bit dated but is kept clean. Love the balcony overlooking the river. Location is a bit far from Ubud center, but they offer 1-way shuttle from the hotel.

Very nice room with a private pool looking out at the forest. Dessert and welcome drink on arrival was very nice. Shuttle service to Ubud palace every hour til like 10PM. Worker at the lobby and the entire facility are friendly and always willing to help. It was definitely a very pleasant experience staying at this villa. There were two things that can improve on. The door can use a new lock. Even when we lock the door (from outside). The door can still be pushed open. And there are some mosquitos in the room and some ants and bugs crawling but mostly outside the room.

We booked the villa for 2 nights and were not aware that the villa was not within the main compound. Nonetheless it was not so much of an issue as there is a buggy service to ferry you to an fro. We were initially worried about monkeys in the villa as it is just next to the Monkey Forest. However, we only encountered a monkey’s presence only once at the villa and it did not disturb us at all. The resort provides a shuttle service to Ubud Market once a day at 10.30am and a pick up at 5pm. There is a short cut to the villa next to the Monkey Forest entrance using the same path as the motorcyclists. Need to be wary of monkeys eyeing your bags though. Breakfast is sufficient to start the day. There is a ready to drink water dispenser in the villa. The cleanliness of the villa is acceptable but the other bathroom can make do with a good scrub. There are shower and bathtub in the main bedroom. Would we come back? Yes, but not at the rate that we had paid for. Understandably we stayed during the super peak period of Hari Raya and rates were double the normal price.

Our stay in Villa Sonia Ubud was truly amazing! Everything was great: + location: it's very close to the city centre + service: the staff is super nice and helpful + room: big, bright and clean + atmosphere: the hotel area is very quiet which is good for a nice rest. +food: delicious, we had a chance to try well cooked local dishes. We even had a cooking class with a chef that taught us how to make Balinese dishes. We also had a fantastic romantic dinner with beautiful flower decorations. It is a perfect place to celebrate anniversary, birthday or life. If we come back to Ubud we will definitely stay in Villa Sonia Ubud.
