I spent 2 weeks at the camp, for an excellent stay surrounded by nature, lulled by the night sounds of the jungle and the river flowing below. The 3 daily meals are very good and cooked with love. The place is clean, and the conditions, although rudimentary for an average European, offer an authentic and pleasant experience of Tanzanian life, far from the main tourist circuits!

Whoever want's a true backcountry experience in a well managed camp in Tanzania should visit Ngerengere Eco Camp. It is authentic, simple in the best sense of the word and you can feel that people are living this project with their hearts. This is a great example of eco-tourism. The huts are simple, well designed and comfortable. The camp atmosphere breathes the spirit of the landscape, the people are very friendly and caring (thanks to all of you!) and the landscape is fascinating. We particularly liked naturalizing in the surroundings of the camp, exploring the river, the great baobab trees, birdwatching, observing colobus monkeys, sunsets... So if you are looking for an eco friendly adventure - get out there and enjoy this quiet and peaceful place! Christian and Family

What an amazing experience, words can't describe my adventure. Real people, real life, I had the chance to live with locals, and give some English classes at school. We had the opportunity to discover the African nature during a Safari and see Massai people. I won't forget Remmy and his crew, thanks for the experience. Be careful, the camp isn't located in Zanzibar but in Morogoro, Tanzania mainland.

Life experience! Being at Eco Camp is something unique, Remmy and his family, as well as the entire staff, are wonderful people and do everything they can to provide the best possible experience for guests and project volunteers! If you want an authentic African experience, getting involved in a very important project, then Ngerengere River Eco Camp is the perfect place! I've been there several times and I'll be back many more times!

I was at the Eco Camp as the only guest due to Corona. The drive thru the bush with my tuktuk was challenging but fun. Remmy and two of his sons took great care of me. I had the best time visiting the surrounding villages, the Sunday mass and the schule. It's also great to cool down in the river or observe the wildlife. We became good friends and I'm supporting Remmy with his Health Center Project. See for yourself how far it has progressed. This isn't one of your touristy stops. There's no show only real African daily life. You're gonna eat what they eat, freshly cooked on the fire in the kitchen. The bungalows are simple but cozy, with running water and mosquito nets. There's solar power for light or gadgets charging and if you're lucky even some mobile network. Your stay will not only be one of the highlights of your Tanzania trip, it will also help to keep the schule and other projects running.

I went to camp in Tanzania and stayed at the eco camp for 3 days. It was an unforgettable stay, the locals are very welcoming, I was able to learn to live like them, to cook in their ways. I was able to go on a safari. Accommodation changes our habits but it teaches us to live in a different way which I loved!! I would have liked to stay longer at the eco camp to discover all the activities they offered. I recommend the eco camp 100%!! This trip creates real social connections which are fantastic!

As a family, 5, for a few days last February, great discovery of a pretty, somewhat lost place, for those who love authenticity and the experience of African rurality, it's great, super exotic. Opportunity to meet Masai breeders. Mr Remmy and his staff, without forgetting FRancis, a super friendly and knowledgeable guide, welcome you warmly. It's a bit rootsy, in my opinion a negotiation is possible... My family and I will never forget this break away from everyday life.
