What's nearby: 38 miles long and only 10 to 15 miles wide, Molokai is the smallest of the main Hawaiian chain. The west side is arid and dry, and during the winter, the beaches are great for surfing, while summer guests love snorkeling and swimming. The eastern side is lush and tropical with miles of barrier reef in front. Molokai's north side is famous for having the world's highest sea cliffs which rise some 3,000 feet out of the ocean. The 2774-acre Kamakou Forest Preserve on Molokai overlooks these sea cliffs and is home to endangered birds and over 200 Hawaiian plants that grow only in this preserve. Molokai's south side is where you will find our main town of Kaunakakai, plus a handful of tourist and art shops, two full-service grocery markets, a health food store, a bakery, and even a wine and cheese shop. You'll also find some shopping in the villages of Kualapu'u and Maunaloa. How to Report Damage Please report accidental damage as soon as it occurs so we can assess and minimize the extent of the damages. Damage Waiver Additional Terms and Conditions The Damage Waiver only covers damage that occurs during the authorized rental period and that Renter or an authorized guest reports PRIOR TO CHECK OUT. The Damage Waiver does not cover intentional damage or damage caused by smoking, pets or other animals brought onto the Property, or criminal activity. The Damage Waiver does not cover damage to any structure other than the Property covered by your confirmed, non-fraudulent reservation.
