Easy to find, plenty of parking. A covered area to unload/load your bags. Pretty close to almost everything. Check in was smooth as was checkout. Staff is very helpful & knowledgeable. Elevators worked good. It is an older hotel, has some updates. Room could use some more USB plugins. Room was clean and all worked as advertised. The restaurant was good, the bar was also good. Drinks were cold and the food was tasty. The A/C ran on constant which was nice as i do so love the white noise. Did not have time to use the fitness center, it looked okay? I will return to this property the next time in Tyler TX.!

I had a good experience at this property with one small caveat…on the last night of my stay there were a couple cockroaches on my bedspread.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay the staff is friendly and the breakfast is off the chain and the bar was excellent except not having sports on the TV

Aesthetically the properties appealing, it has a convention center, pool and some decent amenities. But the remodel did not go well. Bedrooms are decent size and the bathrooms are tiny compared to other places I've stayed. And whoever they used for their most recent remodel did a terrible job. I had an okay stay, would not have a problem staying here again, I just think they need to get someone here to fix a bunch of the nitty stuff to really make the place a quality place to stay, a quality Holiday Inn in good condition.

My only problem was the noise from the TV next door the walls can be thin. I wore earplugs to help me sleep. The place is clean and well maintained. Everyone was very friendly.
