The Alexander Pope Hotel

Gorgeous hotel. Really nice rooms- lovely decor and extremely comfortable beds. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Had one of the nicest Sunday dinners ever, whilst watching the football match . A lovely stay all round. Would definitely go back. Very reasonably priced too. Expensive drinks , but I think it’s the case in most places now. The only negative thing was our the didn’t work, but nothing to worry about as we used the radio provided!!

Hotel is very welcoming,with well proportioned rooms with everything you would need.A lovely breakfast is served by friendly efficient staff. I had a very enjoyable weekend.

Stayed at the Alexander Pope Hotel as it was my daughter’s graduation at St Mary’s University, Twickenham Lovely room with a good view of the River Thames. Breakfast both days was excellent and had a very nice meal and dessert on Friday evening. Will be 100% staying again whenever we need to visit my daughter in St Mary’s University over the next year where she is doing a Master’s Degree.

A warm welcome awaits you at this delightful hotel with a park opposite and the river only a short walk away. Their good sized Garden at the front leads to a covered dining area. Upon entering the large and well stocked bar with a range of both alcoholic and non alcolholic beverages with plenty of seating for the inclemaint days. Our room was a good size, the bed was large, comfortable and we slept soundly. The wardrobe also contained, iron and ironing board together with a safe, but still had plenty of room for our cloths A good selection of drinks and snacks available from the mini bar. I especially liked the fresh water available daily, it was a nice touch. Our bathroom was a reasonable size, with shower, toilet and washbasin plenty of towels and spotlessly clean. After a good night's sleep the choice for breakfast can leave you set up for the day. The hotel is well situated for days in Central London and beyond. Twickenham Railway Station is walkable for those of us who are reasonable mobile with frequent trains to London or Clapham Junction with connecting trains to the southern counties, including Gatwick Airport. After a day of sightseeing, shopping or visiting the various London landmarks , there is nothing better than a glass of good beer or wine, together with some excellent food and this pub will certainly not disappoint. Friendly and attentive staff serve you and help make your stay enjoyable and wanting to return whenever you are next in the area.

The Alexander Pppe is a beautiful and decent hotel in an excellent location that is very walkable to train stations. The room was very clean and well appointed with a beautiful view to the park. Saff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay in Twickengam.

So glad we chose to stay here. All staff very friendly. Rooms perfect. Bar and restaurant suburb. Great food and drink. Everything was just perfect. Thankyou all and plan to visit again. Met some really great guests also staying . Very reasonable rate on Sunday evening
