Nice cozy room in the attic. Newly refurbished rooms, clean and warm. Try not to bring large luggage as the staircase up to the attic was rather narrow.

I arrived on 5th April at about 430pm and the staff member who showed me to my room was really friendly and welcoming. I had a lovely little beamed room with en-suite which was immaculate. The bed was so comfy I missed breakfast! There was a double and a good sized single in the room. I left the keys with the cleaning lady the next day, who could also not have been more friendly and helpful, directing me to where I could get a coffee. Thank you, I had a really comfy stay.

Had a great stay in an authentic British Inn…
Bar area was a fun place to spend the evening after a day of sightseeing in London (only a 25 minute train journey)….place is older but very clean and welcoming. Watch your head….low beams and tight staircase… not suitable for persons with mobility issues….
Rugby game days will be very busy, if that’s not your thing then avoid those days… we will definitely stay again. Oh.. and good price point…

Lovely pub in walking distance of Twickenham and Twickenham Stoop. Comfy beds. Unusual not to have en suite bathroom facilities, however this wasnt an issue as there was multiple toilets amd a shower facility. Lovely friendly staff.

Disappointing.
I was going to order food for the evening. I asked the member of staff about it.
She called the woman who comes in to cook who said she was out for the evening and couldn't get back to cook.

This is an old building so nothing is level and nearly all the floors creak. The pub itself is very traditional and has lots of seating. The bedroom was clean and tidy but there was noise from joining bedrooms and floors above. Breakfast is a bargain and very nice. The Ukrainian lady that serves breakfast and cleans is an absolute darling. This place is ideally located for rugby matches at both Twickenham and the Stoop.
