Stayed here for two nights in February 2024. Standard motel room with mini fridge and microwave. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a small table and chairs for eating. Furnishings and bathroom looked a little worn. Price was reasonable. Well situated for the Joshua Tree Visitor Center which is a short distance down the street. The drive to the North entrance of Joshua Tree National Park is about 10 minutes. This property did the job for reasonably priced, clean accommodation that was close to the town's amenities.

Met the bare minimum standard of clean linens and a clean bathroom, but that was about it. The heating in the room was okay, but the bathroom was absolutely freezing and appeared uninsulated. There was no hairdryer. I spilled some soup on the floor and agree with the review by Kathie S from January 2024- the floors seem to have never been mopped, so I wore socks in the room; there were no forks or plates, and I wouldn't call the freestanding refrigerator and microwave a kitchenette.

The room was large and shower water was hot, however there was not much else to talk about. The room had a kitchenette, but no utensils, dishes, glassware or pots & pans, luckily I had my own plasticware and paper towels to use. The window unit could not heat the room and it was constantly cold. The room seemed relatively clean, except for the floors which were very dirty and appeared to have never been mopped. The room did not represent the Trip Advisor reviews I read - and I realize my stay was still during a holiday week, but the room rate was too high based on conditions. I would not choose this motel for a future stay.

Loved this little gem! We asked for a remodeled room . . . and that came with the price of the floors not being/staying clean (so much so that my cream slippers were pretty black by the end of our four-night stay). The place was convenient, the furniture in the room new, the woman running the motel was efficient and we liked the price! The pool would have been perfect if only it was much warmer. We loved the palm trees. It was noisy on the street right outside the motel on the first night of our stay . . . a Sunday night . . but overall a happy place to rest between hikes in Joshua Tree!

Comfortable, clean desert motel. Pictures and description are accurate. Not your chain motel. This has character. Was a bit put off because all guests were next to each other in one area and worried about noise. But there was no problem. Owner also very nice.

This motel is perfectly located for entering Joshua Tree National Park. Check-in was smooth and we were transferred to two rooms as our 2bdm unit apparently had water issues. Sadly the one room smelled really bad. We had to use an air purifier but it didn't eliminate much of the smell. The shower head wobbled when the water was turned on and the power socket for the fridge was hanging off the wall, exposing wires. The kitchen in one room was a really good size. Neither kitchen came with any kitchen 'stuff' There was a coffee pot with the standard paper cups. There was a microwave, which we didn't end up using and a full oven. The full fridge was fantastic for freezing our drinks before another long drive in the morning. Both rooms were spacious with plenty of space to spread out luggage. The beds were incredibly comfortable and I quite possibly could have had a sleep in. The floor was dusty, it must be a loosing battle for staff daily. My husband' s feet were filthy. The shower pressure was very good and we had no problem with internet connection, even though the motel was full for the night. There is a laundry with one machine and one dryer. the machine is USD 2.00 to use. There is usually parking outside the room. The motel has a pool, although we didn't get the chance to try it out. Our room was tucked away from the main road, so we did not notice the traffic noise. This motel is really great value, it is old, but we were comfortable.

The room was small but clean. The bed was comfortable. Amenities were limited--no Kleenex, no vending machines. (There was soda available). Website listed room service. That turned out to be calling Piza Hut for delivery. The place is conveniently located to other food options if you have a car. I didn't.

Stayed here late Feb 2023 for two nights. The room was clean and nice. Not outdated or anything. It had a mini fridge (larger than the typical dorm size) with a separate freezer which was nice to have. WiFi worked fine. Only issue was it was really cold and snowy when we were there (Joshua tree National park even closed early due to inclement weather) and our room heater stopped working. Came back from a day of exploring and our room was 50 degrees (despite leaving the heat set on 72). Went to the front desk and they gave us a space heater, which definitely helped. Despite this I would still stay here again and recommend it for a budget hotel in the area. The price was very reasonable and I feel the room quality was better than normal for the price.
