We had to cancel one of our rooms because my son was sick. The manager, Arial, was prompt and helped us get our points back for our stay. She was very responsive and helpful!!! If you have any issues with your stay, I'm sure she can resolve them!!

Sad,old, tired and in dire need of a complete renovation or rebuild, this is an old Hampton that does not deliver on the usual brand values. The only accurate Tripadvisor reviews are those listed under “Poor” or “Terrible” all others must have low low standards in their lives if they think this is “Excellent”. Check-in was quick friendly and efficient but the reception area gives a poor initial impression upon arrival. The place has that old hotel smell too, yuk. Breakfast is diabolical; paper plates; plastic cutlery; scrambled eggs that are dried out and lifeless; sausages that were probably good 6 hours ago. Curiously they have a wall sign that says “Happy Breakfast - Happy Day” and explains why I had a terrible day then!! The bedroom and bathrooms are even worse, if that is possible. Poor quality bed sheets, poor quality old towels and no room safe for valuables. An AC/heating system that is noisy and has poor performance. A bathroom shower cubicle that looks like it has never been cleaned properly in the past years, simply wiped down. See the photos! A very poor Hampton, with poor management, the Hilton quality team need to inspect this place soon. We rated it 1/10 and it’s simply not worth the money or points used.

No hot water in the entire hotel. The staff knew there wasn’t any when we checked in but neglected to mention that. Called that night was told it was being fixed and to let the water run for 10 minutes. Needless to say in the morning there was still no hot water. Called the front desk and all they could say that the pump wasn’t working and they don’t know when it will be. Was supposed to stay 2 nights checked out after one

For two weary Seniors (spouse), a quiet respite from a long day at the wheel. Quiet location, some driving logistics required in Tuscaloosa as hotel is a bit off of highway 20/59 (going from Meridian to Gadsden). A good quality casual dining restaurant is beside the hotel. Hotel breakfast (included) was very pleasant and well-done. Rooms clean, bathroom could use updating. We requested online and were given a quiet location(top floor). Did not encounter a Pet. Overall a pleasant one night stay and would recommend.

We traveled to Tuscaloosa for a college visit. We were greeted by a very friendly Gracie at the front desk. She was able to get us in our room quickly. We got into our room got settled in, and about 5 mins into our stay I looked over and saw a bed bug on our pillow. We grabbed our stuff and bolted from the room as quick as possible. Back down to the front desk and again Gracie did a fantastic job moving us to another room and apologizing profusely for the bed bugs in our room. While we were really grossed out we are realistic. The reason for my 2 star is that Gracie told me the manager would give us a call and we never heard from the manager. We have Alabama high on our list but we won't stay at this location again!

I stayed here recently while visiting my son. It's a great location, close to campus. The hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms were great. Breakfast was good too. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit my son.

Perfect location while visiting my son at UA. Hotel is clean with friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast had many choices. My bed was a bit firm for my taste but I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was an excellent facility. It was clean, the rooms were relatively large, the staff was excellent. It's one of the best I've stayed in. The fitness room is tiny and limited and breakfast is pretty standard fare for a Hampton. However, the coffee area is one of the most well-stocked I've seen and the location is outstanding for work or play in & around Tuscaloosa. If you're a football fan, Baumhower's Restaurant is right next door too.
