Amazing place to stay in Turpan! Perfect English is spoken and staff is very friendly and helpful. Great common areas and fantastic coffee is available from the cafe at the front. Highly recommend this Hostel.

Easily one of the top two or three guesthouse experiences I’ve had traveling China over the past decade. While it’s certainly on the higher end of the price spectrum, you definitely get what you pay for and more. The level of detail is immaculate: given how hot and dry Turpan is, they give you as much bottled water you need & leave hydrating facial masks in your room every day. Also, shoutout to the beds—one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in China—and Japanese toilet. The facilitates and service touches are on par with the best luxury hotel brands which probably go for twice the price or more. But ultimately the people and location are what make this place special. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I ran into the owner at a restaurant and he bought me dinner and introduced me to some local dishes I would have never known to order. The location is 🍇 valley. It’s a quaint little grape producing village with friendly locals and amazing fruit. All in all, Bafeng Retreat is a special place that is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and take life slowly. Highly recommended.

The B&B is located near Grape Valley, but it is a little off. The street lights are dim when driving to the hotel at night, almost non-existent, and it is a little inconvenient to travel. The handsome guy at the front desk of the B&B was very enthusiastic. He helped us with the luggage and sent us to the door of the room. He brought a plate of welcome fruit. Later, when he heard that we wanted to eat mulberries, he brought another large plate. The environment of the manor is superb. It is suitable for a daze here if you have plenty of time. I heard from the boss that this is also one of the attractions in Grape Valley. Unfortunately, the itinerary is full and there is no time to empty myself and walk slowly in the manor. The room environment is very good, especially the style of the B&B. The only drawback is that the amount of water for bathing is a bit small and the temperature is not high. When we left the store, the boss was very thoughtful. He sent us to the Turpan Museum and took us to pick some mulberries on the roadside. We tasted a few bites and occasionally had a slightly sweet meal. The boss said that the season has not arrived yet and it has just begun to mature. There are no seasonal fruits when we come, otherwise we can pick them by ourselves. Overall, it is still very good. Welcome everyone to stay. 👏

I stayed in a B&B in Turpan for 2 nights, and I still feel warm when I think about it. Chat with the landlady and the uncle, and you will earn money if you talk! Who says interesting souls are not one in a million. What is even more precious is their son. Not only is he cute, he can also explain the knowledge he has learned at home in detail. My boyfriend played with him all afternoon and missed him, hahaha. Needless to say, the environment of the B&B is very comfortable. I have provided the original pictures. It is very comfortable to stay there and it is very convenient to wash clothes and go to the toilet. If you want to take a taxi when traveling, you can tell the boss sister in advance and she will help make a reservation. After staying in Xinjiang for 21 days, the trip to Turpan was short but unforgettable. Looking forward to meeting you again next time. ♥️

The night view of the small courtyard is as beautiful as a painting! The room was very clean and quiet. I slept very well. I woke up at ten o'clock in the morning. The guy who checked in spoke Mandarin very well and was enthusiastic. After we rested for a while, we took the initiative to ask the uncle to take the children to pick grapes. The grape pickers had huge raisins. Okay, we bought 16 bags and gave them to our friends. We drove to the scenic spot for 2-3 minutes. The guy at the front desk would give us an introduction sheet. Tickets for the scenic spots were only 30% off. I was tired when I came back in the evening, so I ordered food and it was delivered directly to the room. Fujian cuisine and seafood are light, which is perfect for our seaside stomachs that have enough meat every day. The B&B has a big yard, and we got up late at 11:30 in the morning. The little brother returned it to us. We prepared breakfast, millet porridge, steamed pumpkin, steamed corn, baked rice dumplings, and egg side dishes. We sat in the yard and ate slowly. It was super comfortable; Jiangsu's stomach was satisfied. The boss lady has a very good attitude and will help us with any questions we have. I wish the boss a prosperous business!

We are a couple from Hong Kong. The homestay is in the grape ditch. The newly built cabin under the grape rack is very freehand. The environment is quiet. The layout of the wooden house is thoughtful. The facilities are very new and the two-story design is very comfortable. The boss family is very good, the little daughter is more warm and welcoming, and also specially asked the aunt to cook delicious and authentic noodles for us to eat. The service is very thoughtful, and also sent freshly picked grapes to us. There is a small night market next to the hotel. I highly recommend everyone to stay in this homestay.
