Selene Beach & Spa Hotel - Adult Only - Ultra All Inclusive

Guests appreciated the comfortable beds for a restful sleep and the cleanliness of the rooms. The staff's friendliness and exceptional service were also highly commended.

We recently returned from a 7-day holiday booked with TUI, staying at a modern hotel about two hours’ transfer from Antalya Airport. We upgraded to a swim-up room, and it was by far the best decision having our own pool and sunbeds made the experience so much more relaxing. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted, and our luggage was taken directly to our room, which was clean, spacious, and featured a huge, comfortable bed. My wife has coeliac disease and requires a strict gluten-free diet, and we were incredibly impressed with how well the hotel catered for her needs. Special thanks to Huseyin and Hanifi, both hard-working and attentive restaurant chefs, as well as Ilknur and Emirhan from the kitchen team, who prepared excellent gluten-free meals every day. The gluten-free bakery items and cakes were freshly made daily, which was a real highlight. Overall, the food was consistently fresh, with amazing cakes, cut fruit, and freshly prepared salads. The hotel itself is in a great location close to the Turkish bazaar and within easy reach of the beach. The drinks selection was excellent, with something for everyone, and we also enjoyed a relaxing massage at the spa. Towels were refreshed daily, which added to the sense of comfort. Areas for Improvement While the hotel has many strengths, there are some areas that could be improved: • Entertainment Team: The entertainment felt less engaging, often focused on local guests rather than all visitors. More active promotion of daily activities would encourage participation. One concerning observation was a young female entertainer smoking on the beach with guests during work hours, which looked unprofessional. • Club and Evening Entertainment: There is a club on the -1 level with a DJ every night, but no one told guests about it. We only discovered it by chance, and it was disappointing to see great music played to an empty room. Better communication about evening events would make a big difference. Poolside music during the day would also help the atmosphere, as long as it’s kept at a reasonable volume. • Service Standards: To truly meet 5-star expectations, service in the restaurant needs improvement. While some staff were clearly passionate and hardworking, others seemed disengaged. We saw guests waiting too long for drinks, tables not set with cutlery, and people having to fetch their own drinks despite being on an all-inclusive package. Consistency in service is essential for a hotel aiming to be 5-star. Overall this is a clean, modern hotel with a wide variety of food to suit everyone. The swim-up rooms, spa, and attentive chefs (especially for gluten-free options) were excellent highlights. However, to truly reach a 5-star standard, improvements are needed in the entertainment program and consistency of restaurant service.
