Hotels near Juventus Museum, Turin

This was our third visit to this hotel and as always we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival our allocated room was not very good but it was changed quickly and easily by the front desk staff. The replacement room was good and modern. The only complaint we have is that the shower cubicle is far too small. Large people will have great difficulty getting in and out let alone actually washing. Additionally the hotels location is good, being close the Porta Susa railway station. No need for a taxi. The restaurant across the road is recommended as is the Sushi restaurant just around the corner at the top of the Via Cernaia. Turin is nice city with not too many tourists and wealth of excellent places to see and places to eat at. We have been visiting Turin for 16 years as our son lives here - we love it. Premetto che è stata la prima volta che ho alloggiato in un ostello, quindi non ho termini di paragone per valutarlo nel suo genere e forse avevo aspettative troppo elevate... Ad ogni modo procedo con la recensione... La struttura è molto particolare, molto ”urban style”, l'ambiente è giovanile e informale. Lo staff è giovane e amichevole, ma forse un po' inesperto: considerato che comunque forniscono un servizio alberghiero a pagamento, mi aspetto professionalità. Noi abbiamo prenotato una quadrupla ad uso privato per la nostra famiglia, con due bagni piccolissimi e senza bidet (grosso handicap, ma lo sapevo sin dall'inizio). I letti erano comodi, l'arredo essenziale. Pulizia buona. Per il deposito bagagli sono disponibili degli armadi, ma devi avere il tuo lucchetto, sennò te ne vendono uno alla reception a prezzo di costo: non so se negli ostelli si usi così, ma il deposito bagagli è veramente un servizio minimo basilare, mi aspettavo che fosse ”completo”. La colazione è stata veramente minimal, a fronte di un prezzo piuttosto alto. Tra l'altro, per un fraintendimento in sede di prenotazione, avevo capito che la colazione fosse compresa nel prezzo, quindi è stata una brutta sorpresa aver dovuto aggiungere altri € 27,00 al giorno per fare colazione in loco, considerato anche che il prezzo della stanza già non era stracciato (però, a onor del vero, siamo andati in occasione di un ponte, ci poteva stare che il prezzo della camera fosse superiore alla media). L'errore sulla colazione inclusa/non inclusa è stato mio, però rileggendo la corrispondenza con lo staff dell'ostello, secondo me si capiva che avevo preso un abbaglio, quindi avrei gradito essere corretta subito... Per il resto posso dire che la struttura è comodissima per il centro storico e per i mezzi pubblici. Nei dintorni c'è molta scelta per pranzo e cena. C'è comunque anche il ristorante interno. Per i pochi giorni di permanenza il Combo ha fatto il suo dovere ed è stata una soluzione funzionale. Se non si hanno troppe pretese e si cerca giusto un posto per pernottare, questo ostello è una struttura strategica per la visita alla bella città di Torino.

My friend and I spent six nights at this hotel. It is situated near the city centre and near a bus/tram stop called Bertolo, with a good and fast connection to Porta Susa station. Most tourist attractions are within walking distance or can easily be reached by bus or tram. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful and they do their utmost to make your stay a wonderful experience. We loved the breakfast. It was very tasty and there was a great variety of food and drinks. We had two single rooms, which were very clean. My room had a balcony with a view of the inner courtyard (see picture). This hotel offers a wonderful stay in Turin at a reasonable price.

We stayed here as a couple for two nights stay. We were shocked by how nice our room was at first glance, seemed very modern and had a cool balcony. However we soon noticed that there were loads and loads of ants on the floor, wardrobe, bathroom. We obviously told the staff who, when we went out, said they sprayed everywhere/surface in the room with I presume bug spray. This was fine I suppose apart from the fact that all of this spray will have gone all over all our belongings and our bed, which isn’t great. Some ants remained but they said there was nothing more they could do. The main thing you want in a hotel is for it to be clean (bug-less) so this was a real downer as we darent put anything on the floor or in the wardrobe incase ants got in it! We then got a visit saying we were being too loud when ironically I was writing a review on the last place we stayed whilst my partner showered, so we certainly weren’t being loud, not even speaking. Aircon was very loud, couldn’t keep it on all night as it sounded like a car, but at least it worked. Breakfast was fine, hot food looked horrible but they had yoghurts and juice which sufficed. Very good location!

The front desk uncle is fluent in English and the service is very thoughtful. The room is also in keeping with the best style of best western, with a kettle, drying racks and so on. Located next to the city center train station, it is very convenient. The price is also very reasonable and worth recommending!

I must admit I had my concerns. My first impression I had when I saw this place while booking it was that it is some kind of a youth hostel. Yet, I took the chance and booked it. I am glad I found this most welcoming hotel. This is a mixed facility. The first 4 floors are only for university students and the top 2 (5+6) are for hotel guests. The decoration is great, new and maintained greatly. They even installed a new decorative wall paper in our floor even that the walls were in a very good shape. The staff is great, both at the front desk and the Baristas at the open dining area. The lower ground of the hotel is amazing. It has laundry machines and dryers operated by a convenient app provided by the front desk. It has quiet learning area, a gym, cooking stations, table tennis, pool table and a large screen to project your movies. Breakfast is very basic, yet, the coffee is great. The rooms terraces face the interior yard in which students may gather and have some fun. Don't mistake, it is fun, not extra noise or anything like it.

Pleasant reception, correct room for one or two nights. Very very quiet area in the evening, 20 minutes by car from the city center.

Staff were great and so helpful! Lovely breakfast and really nice room! Easy access to the centre of Turin. Food store close by and a really nice restaurant. Definitely recommend you stay! No complaints at all!

Quando nel mio lavoro valuto le organizzazioni che visito devo riportare evidenze oggettive. Il compenso è ottimo si tratta di un lavoro e deve avere un adeguato compenso racconto questa esperienza su tripadvior solo perché molto divertente. Non ero intenzionato a scrivere recensioni talvolta lo faccio sperando che possano servire non ai Clienti ma in particolare ai proprietari o gestori di alberghi o ristoranti come spunto per migliorare la qualità del servizio. Quando mi capita di scriverle le documento come nel mio lavoro da evidenze oggettive ma in questo caso non ne ho molte. Premetto che l'albergo è in fase di ristrutturazione e questo non era riportato chiaramente su TripAdvisor. Una forte carenza nel controllo di un'attività straordinaria così rilevante, da parte della Direzione dell'albergo mi porta a consigliare di evitare la prenotazione sino al termine dei lavori. Nella ristrutturazione in corso sono state momentaneamente eliminate le scale esterne su un lato dell'albergo da utilizzare come vie di fuga in caso di incendio, restano quelle sul lato opposto. Sul lato dove è in corso la ristrutturazione ho notato che vengono eseguiti lavori di profonda perforazione che mi fanno pensare a problemi strutturali da risolvere. All'arrivo chiedo di utilizzare il parcheggio interno a pagamento anche perché una parte di quello esterno ė utilizzato come parcheggio per i mezzi che stanno lavorando alla ristrutturazione. Scendo verso il parcheggio interno e volendo andare al coperto come generalmente faccio nei vari alberghi a 4 stelle dove mi reco scendo sino al portone interno. È chiuso scendo e lo apro premendo sul comando per l'apertura. Il portone si apre io proseguo e mi trovo anziché in un parcheggio libero in un salone colmo di mobili o altre cose accatastate mi è impossibile accedere per fare inversione di marcia e sono costretto a risalire in retromarcia ovviamente affrontare la forte pendenza in retromarcia causa una forte usura al mezzo che si guida, e questo è stato evidenziato dal fortissimo odore di gomma bruciata che si sentiva. Risalito in retromarcia il posto macchina più comodo era occupato da una carriola colma di vetri rotti. Non me la sento di spostarla così vado verso i posti a pagamento esterni. Parcheggio la macchina con estrema difficoltà, correttamente nei limiti circoscritti, dato che lo spazio per parcheggiare non permette una facile manovra. Sceso dalla macchina noto che, appena sopra al cofano della macchina termina un tubo delle grondaie e tutta l'acqua finisce sul cofano dato che sta piovedo. La cosa non mi piace e decido di spostarla. Con estrema difficoltà, dato che lo spazio e molto stretto riparcheggio la macchina altrove. Visto che l'albergo è in ristrutturazione non è possibile accedere direttamente dal retro dal parcheggio, ma è necessario ripercorrere con le valige la stradina ora in salita uscire da parcheggio per rientrare in albergo.
