"Overall its a good hotel with quiet surroundings, walking distance to the lake garden. Followings are my comments particularly about the room.
1) The bed, not up to so claimed a 4 star hotel. Not comfortable & shaking with sounds, my room was 219.
2) The towel colour not purely white but creamy. The quality of the towel like a budget hotel. The amenities, the soap is so thin, slightly bigger than an old 50 cents coin.
3) Breakfast, quite of a variety of food served but sadly the tastes are not there.
4) Receptions at night, they switched off the entrance lights making it looks dark. This must be a directive from the management try to save electricity bills.
5) Last but not least the price I paid consider pricey. For a weekday with less than 10 cars, I have paid RM198.
6) With the comments I have mentioned above & their current standard, the ideal rate should be maximum RM150 per night. For the price I have paid better stay at Novotel. The staff need to be sent for customer service training.
7) For sure I won’t return with this kind of level of service."
"The Cozytainer is a unique container hotel, although the sparrow is small and complete. The environment is beautiful, with a coffee restaurant, and the food tastes good. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The only small drawback is that the sound insulation effect is average, but if the scorpion is a short stay, it is still worth experiencing for one night."
"The area is beautiful.. the house is clean.. The courtyard is relaxing... I am satisfied, it is difficult to check in and out... I have to call and ask and it is like self service... So far ************** okay n quiet area...."
"Hotel Flemington, Taiping – A Quiet Retreat by the Lake
As a first-time visitor to Taiping, I stayed at Hotel Flemington and found it to be a peaceful and relaxing place. While the location may feel a bit unusual at first – tucked away from the main town area – it actually offers a unique charm once you settle in.
One of the highlights is definitely the serene environment. The hotel is located right in front of the beautiful Taiping Lake Gardens, providing a scenic view and a calm atmosphere throughout the day. If you’re someone who enjoys nature walks, morning jogs, or simply sitting by the lake, this is a fantastic spot.
The surrounding area is quiet, making it ideal for those looking to unwind or escape the busier parts of the city. Despite the slightly odd location at first glance, the peacefulness and proximity to nature more than make up for it.
Overall, Hotel Flemington is a comfortable base for exploring Taiping, especially if you value tranquility and picturesque surroundings."
"Location just nice to me as we can walking to Taiping lake in the morning and having our morning tea time at 988 hawker which quite suit for my dad taste. In between, we can walk to the hawker center which near Taiping Mall to have You Zha Kui and Tau Fu Hua. We go Spritzer ecopark within 15min from the hotel. Just nice for me and my families to relax in the hectic life. We had been in Taiping as families for 3 times at the same hotel . Will back here for more trips."
"A really nice place outside of the old city in a busy new area with malls on the doorstep.
Be aware, the guy on reception tried to charge me a tax and I had to show him my booking to get the money back as trip had included it in the cost.
Other than that a very nice place."
"Overall good comfortable, clean. However water pipe too loud, woke us up early in the morning when someone use the toilet 😞. Coffee, kettle provided. Staffs are friendly."
"A few improvements need to be upgrade for guests comfort....there is no dustbin in the room only in the bathroom....no hooks or rack to hang clothes , towel ..."
AAnonymous UserHotel jenis lama. 1st time tggl sini . Booked hotel ni sebb anak nak swimming pool. Malang nya swimming pool tidak terjaga dgn baik. Berlumut. Air kotor. Breakfast xde yg menarik. Apapa pun just a short stay. So x kisah sgt la.
PPoppetStayed a night last week. The accommodation is satisfactory, value for money. The room comes with towels and basic necessities and a simple yet satisfying breakfast is included in the price. There is no lifts, so for seniors is best to request for ground floor rooms. However its location just across the Taiping Lake where one can enjoy a hassle free morning stroll along The Raintree Walk taking in the serene beauty of landscape, with the arrival of storks and squirrels enjoying their morning climb says it all. Will definitely stay there again. Thumps-up to their helpful and friendly staffs too.
NNur imaninasuitable for travel in budget .. comfortable place .. hotel close to ... shop for old people only x ssuai sbb climb the stairs .. will repeat if you go to taiping again ..
AAnonymous UserThe house location is unique. So high, plus located near the mountain, bring cool breeze air in the morning & night. But quite hot during day time as it faces west. However every room has an air cond so it's ok. The beds are not really comfortable as all are old already, suit the price i guest. If the owner can provide mineral water or drink water filter, would be great. As it's quite hard to find in the area, even speedmart also sold out mineral water there 😂
AAnonymous UserGreat location to unwind from the town. The villa were nice for nature lover. I love the surrounding. If they advertise to attract many tourist, it should be great.
HHanis AzmanThe place was nice, just that on check out day it was quite noisy outside as there's a shooting 🤣 but other than that, all good. Need to pay for parking ya if going on weekdays, can install the Park@Perak app to pay.
AAl DDUSTYNice budget hotel in the town of Taiping. Easy access to many shops. Room is good for solo or couple. Basic amenities such as towels, coffe, iron is provided.
Also have surau at level 4
