Myself, my wife, and our two children aged 9 and 1/2 and 12 years old visited and had a wonderful time. Our room was very comfortable and had a wonderful view, and was quiet and clean. The food at both the restaurant and tavern was delicious well prepared and the service staff was quick and courteous and professional and friendly. We were very happy to be so close to the entrance to Yosemite. But, we also enjoyed the amenities at Rush Creek Lodge and spa, including the indoor playroom, the outdoor play space and zipline, and the cold pool and hot tub. All the staff was friendly and personable and professional. We would absolutely recommend to friends and family, and learned that family visited no more than one month ago.

I'm sad to say that this Resort has seen better days. I am writing a review based on the room I'm in 305 in the main lodge. Perhaps other rooms are not in this condition however it is clear that there is a lot of wear and tear and for the price one is paying you would expect the hotel to maintain the rooms to a certain standard that guests would expect at this price point. The bathroom primarily needs work. Lot of water staining on the tile on both the walls and the floor. The bathroom floor has a crack in it and the sink surround has water staining and wear and tear. The furniture in the main bedroom has also seen better days. Very worn and unappealing to sit in. The gym is the size of a closet and missing a majority of the weights. There's only two treadmills and one bicycle. The ice machine has been broken since I arrived. there is a big pooling of water in the laundry room where the ice machines are located. It's been like that for several hours and has not been fixed. I understand that this is a resort for those that want to disconnect so please be aware there are no televisions in any of the rooms. It would be nice if the gym were larger and more accommodating and that things were generally working properly both in the room and also in the hotel. Overall I'm quite disappointed with the lack of upkeep for a resort that is over $500 per night.

It’s definitely a beautiful area, and we enjoyed the surroundings. The suite we booked, however, had a bathroom fan and main room heater that weren’t working. When we mentioned it at checkout, the staff asked if we had called maintenance or the front desk. While I understand things can break, it would have been nice to have the issues addressed more proactively. Most of the team members we encountered were friendly and welcoming, though there were a few instances where staff seemed less approachable and assumed guests already knew how things worked. A more engaging and helpful approach would have made the experience even better.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel had a lot to do for kids and families. The biggest issue was that the hotel was very under staffed. We asked that our room be cleaned by 1pm, only to return at 4pm each day to an uncleaned room. When we followed up with the front desk, they said that they could only guarantee it done by 6pm. We have two small kids that go to bed at 7pm, so you can see how that would never work. Seems like if you don’t have the staff to clean rooms at an acceptable time, you’re understaffed. While the game room was great for kids, it was also very dirty throughout the day with people’s old cups, and trash left on tables. Again, more staff needs to be clearing and cleaning these areas. Also, same issue with the restaurant. Hard to track down a waiter and the poor host was literally running back to his post after seating people. We came at the beginning of August. You would expect that during their busiest time, they have a full staff to accommodate guests.

Everything was amazing! Highly reccommend staying here! Staff was very welcoming and friendly, activities was awesome, and the food was delicious! It felt like home away from home and it was really hard to leave when it was time! It's also a short drive away from the Yosemite National Park entrance.

From the pool to the spa to the activities & games to the s'mores, there was something for everyone here at every moment of the day. Rush Creek had a friendly feeling, it was a lively place and in a gorgeous setting. Definitely recommend for families!

This has to be one of the best and most beautiful hotels I have stayed in, and I have stayed in a lot. It’s set in the forest just back from one of the roads into Yosemite Park. The staff were wonderful and really friendly. The food is great with plenty of choice. We stayed in a two room villa, which is perfect for families. All the other facilities are great including the pool area, which has plenty of space for relaxing after a day in the park. Highly recommend if visiting YNP.
