What a beautiful spot just one mile outside one of the Yosemite park entrances. Large property with many rooms, and private spaces for larger groups. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available on site. Lots of parking. Pool and gym are nice. Spa services looked great, but we didn’t take advantage. Would definitely recommend!

My family had a fantastic stay at Rush Creek. The staff is fantastic and friendly. I loved the very well stocked store and coffee shop for our morning coffees, breakfast and lunches on-the-go. The kids loved the pool, zip lines and obstacle course. We also enjoyed the poolside BBQs for dinner. The rooms and resort are clean. We also booked two "excursions" through the resort and they were both great. We stayed for 5 nights and I cannot think of one negative thing to say.

This is a fabulous resort. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a day in Yosemite. Food was great, just sorry we never got to sample the BBQ as it wasn’t running on the 3 nights we were there. Highlight was the organised ‘Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point’ tour that we took … Tyler was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, felt that we learned so much from him that we wouldn’t have got from driving ourselves around. Would totally recommend booking on.

Wow!!! My first time to Yosemite! Just want to say thank you on an amazing stay! You certainly have built an amazing retreat nestled in the hills beyond the Yosemite Valley. Catering to families you’ve created a paradise with amazing food, games, outdoor activities and a sanctuary for adults. We loved the evening s’mores and the daytime pool treats. Among the best was Manny and his team who provided an excellent dinner every evening! Your pool bar was excellent and congenial. My kids loved climbing on the outdoor structure and swinging on the zip line. This is my first time to the resort and we loved it!

We couldn't have picked a better hotel. Rush Creek is perfectly located. Really close to the entrance to Yosemite. Ignore the criticisms that it's still an hour drive to Yosemite valley. The location meant you could access the Valley but also the high ground (Tenaya Lake was beautiful) and Hetch Hetchy which we loved. The accommodation was excellent, food was excellent, the staff were really welcoming, shop v handy, nice pool. The recreation team were great - we did one of their tours (Wonders of Yosemite) and did some hiking by ourselves using their recommendations. Couldn't recommend this enough.

At the last minute, Under Canvas at Yosemite, where we were originally booked, cancelled our stay and recommended Rush Creek Lodge. We had no idea what to expect. When people say it is a "destination" resort, now I know what they mean. If people go all the way to a rather remote location, and some don't even proceed to the National Park although Rush Creek is a mile from the Yosemite entrance, that alone should say something. The place, rooms and service were very clean and comfortable. There is such a lovely feeling there. The pool and spa were hits for our party spanning three generations. The sunsets and views from our rooms were awesome. The food was quite good although the restaurant menu remains the same every night. They have occasional option for bbqs outdoors. We stayed five nights. The "general store" was a great asset in preparation for our hikes and for souvenirs and snacks. The pool bar was nice and convenient. We hiked in the National Park three days in a row and came back early afternoon to the pool, relaxation, spa, dinners, s'mores at a lovely fire, stargazing one night, and the lively game room for the kids. We miss the place already!
