You can hear the sound of waves all the way to your room, so you can feel the great outdoors.
The only disappointing thing was that there was a charge for water in the room. Tap water was free, but I was grateful that bottled water was also free.
Overall, I'm very satisfied because I can see the sea from my room.
There were a lot of mosquitoes and I got bitten a lot, so I recommend bringing insect repellent spray.

From the minute we stepped through the front door, we were greeted and wrapped with fantastic service. Personal, thoughtful and attentive. The rooms are more like suites, all very private and surrounded by the sounds of the ocean and nature. All the meals we had were excellent. The hotel is located in the National Jaguar Park where the Tulum ruins are located. We rented bikes one day and road down the well paved road about 10-15minutes to see them. There are multiple beach clubs that are accessible as well, all with in a 10-15 minute walk. Miriam, at the front desk, was incredibly helpful with suggesting restaurants and activities. She was a fabulous hostess. The whole staff from Alberto our waiter to the maintenance staff were all so attentive. This is a perfect getaway for couples, with only 20 rooms, who want escape to a private beautiful stay.

The valet staff misdirected during parking - fair enough - but the issue was that the hotel manager first confirmed the story, but changed her mind the day after (after speaking to her boss). The staff started filming us, and the hotel manager refused to comment on this when we informed her. What a place.

My mom and I chose this place to stay during our 8-day trip to Tulum. Yes, as the name suggests, this hotel was very couples-oriented, but there were also a few friend groups and solo travelers here as well, so we were not the only non-couple vacationers here. The hotel rooms are super clean and the maid service was awesome! Every time we came back to our room it was tidy and organized. The pool is very nice and relaxing. Overall the vibes here are laid-back and relaxed. The food is very good too. You can also visit their sister properties and take advantage of their amenities as well, which was a nice added experience. We loved all of the women at the front desk, they were all very helpful and gave us ideas of what to visit and where to eat, etc. Overall the experience was excellent. Thank you to everyone who works at Mi Amor!

We were looking for a short trip that offered everything we were looking for. The Hotel Mi Amore is absolute paradise for couples. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the staff is very attentive and the grounds are clean. We even made a few friends with the local wildlife. You have to experience this for yourself.

Mi Amor is a fantastic experience! This is my second time staying at this hotel and I will for sure be back. The service is phenomenal, the ambiance and aesthetic are amazing and truly make your trip magical. I personally love how private and secluded the hotel is since it’s a little ways from the hotel zone. It’s still close to everything and we enjoyed exploring on bikes this time. The food in their restaurant is also so fresh and the presentation is beautiful
