The walk into The Mayo Hotel in Tulsa will you step back in time. Not because of the facilities just back into an era of opulence, decadence, and a change in the world. When you walk through the door please do not rush to check in - take a moment to look around and explore. It's incredible. If you don't get a camera/smartphone out I will be amazed. It is super photogenic and ......beautiful. Read the history - it matters!!! The rooms speak for themselves - total quality. Well of course that should be true - you are paying the price. The one thing you can't guarantee are the team that meets and greets. Well Dimitri and Songa (? Sorry dude if I have got your name wrong) have been nothing but incredible. As was the gent in Marks Bar - top choice of Bourbon mate! Pros.......Duh just come stay here Cons...... It's got to be said....a surcharge for cutlery crockery etc when self ish catering is an option is a bit of a shocker! Cheaper to go to a local store and buy disposable. Poor call The Mayo - Have a good rethink unless you are going to charge for toilet roll maybe? All in all if we were in Tulsa again there is nowhere we would stay but here - however we would bring our own crockery, cutlery and glasses!!! Thank you Tulsa and thank you The Mayo!!! I had a great stay at the Mayo! The hotel is beautiful and I had a lovely, spacious suite that was clean, comfortable and attractive. A real stand out for me was the service I received at the front desk, as well as the cafe. The front desk agents were top notch. I also enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop bar.

Friendly staff, but this hotel is need of a remodel. I always check the beds to ensure there are no bedbugs, and upon pulling the sheets back, I found dried blood stains and what appears to be urine stains. I asked to switch rooms, and the staff obliged. Upon going to the other room, I did the same exact thing as the first and was shocked to see what appeared to be a huge urine stain on the mattress. I asked to go back to my original room and requested to have an engineer to change the mattress. The engineer was up in minutes and noticed the stains as well. He informed me of the hotel not being able to provide a new mattress because all of their mattresses had some sort of stains on them. I requested a clean blanket and sheet and slept on the sofa. The shower isn't even better. The shower had mildew stains and some white stains on the floor of it. This is not it.

Large and relaxing
We enjoy a comfortable stay and had great service. Only drawback was someone above us dragging a chair across the floor a lot for some reason. It was loud on the hardwood floors.

One night stay
Had some business early morning in Tulsa so decided to stay the night before. This hotel is fantastic! Awesome location and the architecture is absolutely amazing.
I will be coming back here with my lady for a weekend getaway real soon!
