Eamonn and I got married in Renvyle House in July 2024. The wedding was exceptionally co-ordinated by Ben Williams. From initially choosing the venue up until the final details of the day, he was available to answer our questions and make all our special requests for the day a reality. We always felt like we were in safe hands. As the bride, on the day Majella made everything flow effortlessly for me. She made the morning with my family and bridesmaids so special and was always close-by for whatever we needed. She was also a lovely person to have around on this special occasion and made us all, and the day in general, feel so important. The staff greeted me and my Dad with a guard of honour (which is the level of detail and thoughtfulness you can expect if getting married in Renvyle). Eamonn and I were greeted on two occasions by the staff with bottles of champagne (again the special little touches). Antone still talking about the wedding is talking about the food. They said it was not only the best food they have had at a wedding, but the best dinner they have ever had. The quality of the food is renowned in Renvyle, and this was not impacted in any way by the large quantity of guests that we had there. The wine was flowing all night, with special non-alcoholic wine for those not drinking – and the servers never forgot to top this up too. Another example of the exceptional service. Thank you for this Tomás! Anne-Marie is the shining star at Renvyle, although you would not know this as she operates in the background making sure everything is perfect for every guest. She is a joy to talk to, and you feel she really knows and cares for you personally. One of my favourite moments was when she played the entrance song for the bridal party at breakfast, and we all got up and started dancing again. This is what you are getting at Renvyle, the whole hotel for yourself, every experience from the night before to breakfast the next day revolves around you and your guests. It would be remis not to mention the natural beauty that surrounds Renvyle. The rugged and beautiful Connemara landscape takes your breath away. You can admire it while walking the grounds, sitting in the outdoor Hot Tub or follow in our footsteps and make all your guests go for a swim in the sea on day two (just a few metres from their bedroom). It is an amazing place to be and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Being from Galway means we can visit with our friends and family, and stay, in both Winter and Summer (and always receive the same quality service and food). Olivia and Eamonn
