The room is clean and tidy. The golf course is beautiful. Breakfast is on the second floor. Breakfast is open until 11 noon on weekends. I must stay in this hotel once when I come to Ireland. I like it very much!

What a fabulous weekend break myself and my husband had in this hotel. Room (Suite ) was more then we expected dinner on both nights was lovely and the staff were very friendly both restaurant and bar staff.very clean hotel and there was plenty of place in and around the location of hotel to visit. I would visit this hotel again weekend more

Another stay in this fabulous hôtel. Everything perfect from bar food, staff, dinner and great breakfast spread. One of my favourite things about Tulfarris is although they always have weddings on it never effects thé main hotel, no noise, no banging in corridors etc. Cant praise it highly enough, we will be back!!!

We booked a one night break for our family with two of their grandparents. We originally booked for Thursday but the hotel was underbooked so I was contacted to know if I wanted to go on the Friday instead. I took up the offer gladly as it was offered at the same rate as the Thursday. On arrival we got upgraded which was great with the kids. We got suites and have us extra space. The dinner was excellent and staff always pleasant and helpful. The hotel is seasonal but it doesn't affect he operations at all. It's cosy clean and located in a beautifully part of Ireland. He golf course is great I didn't play here this time but have so in the past. All in all great stay.

Just back from a fantastic night in this hotel - had a Valentine's package booked (meal and a night's stay at a great price) - when we arrived we were upgraded to a suite :) with an amazing balcony that had fabulous views over the golf course. There was also a bottle of bubbly waiting for us (not part of the package - we're getting married in the Hotel later in the year...) and yummy chocolate strawberries. The five course dinner in the restaurant was very tasty with cute romantic names for the weekend that was in it - I love chicken liver parfait and their's was delicious, as was my main of sea bass with mushroom and crab risotto - fiancé loved his chicken dish too and the desserts were to die for. Second time we've eaten in the restaurant and it was great both times. This is the second time we've stayed here (visited for lunch a few times too) and the staff are always pleasant, friendly and helpful - even though it was quite busy in the bar the service was still great. Great weekend and can't wait for our Wedding in November - but we'll be back again before that!!! Sarah & Paul

This is a beautiful property with great amenities. While we didn't play golf, my golf pro husband and I drove a cart around the course with an eye to bringing a group of golfers back. It is a good course that is well maintained. The hotel is inventively decorated with a mix of traditional and contemporary pieces. We had dinner in the bar and both the food and services were excellent. The room was very comfortable with high quality linens and toiletries. We had an early breakfast in the lovely restaurant. Again, both food and service were good. When checking out, I asked if they had comment cards for a few items I had noticed. The reception clerk instead said that she would make notes and pass on my comments, which were very minor. The directions to this out of the way place were extremely difficult to follow, but worth the effort.

My partner and I thought the weekend was off to a bad start. We were late arriving on a dark wet Friday evening but on finding the hotel... couldn't have been more wrong. We were warmly welcomed at reception and served food in our room immediately (from a kitchen which had closed almost an hour previously. Our thanks to the chef for that!) The room, or rooms as it turned out, were exceptional. Modern, spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. A fine bedroom/ en-suite with adjoining kitchenette / dining- living room. The views we found the next morning were fabulous. Overlooking the 18th hole, we found wildlife and golfers all braving the showery (but often sun drenched) greens. On exploring the surrounding area further, we found hillside, forest and lakeside walks. A gem of a find for any person half interested in the great outdoors! We had our evening meal in the Lime tree restaurant at the hotel. The food was excellent as well as the service. From there we settled by the fire in the Elk bar for a quiet, relaxing evening. Overall, a wonderful weekend break. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will return again. Thank you to the staff and management of the Tulfarris! Mr and Mrs Egan. Galway.
