We started by ringing for a late Sunday booking, hoping for a deal last minute (day before). We were quoted higher rates than showing on the mills own website, which wasn’t a great start. So we booked on line. We’ve stayed there 3 or four times now, whilst still lovely, it wasn’t quite as it was in my opinion. We stayed in a pod with hot tub. Whilst comfortable, it is very small, just the bedroom and bathroom, which is ok as long as you don’t want or need a separate area to sit. The hot tub was great, stayed warm and we didn’t have to put much wood in. We had arrived in the afternoon a bit early, the restaurant was empty! Very surprising, but we had a snack and were well looked after by a lovely young girl, very bubbly and helpful. For me it was breakfast (cooked) that took the edge off our stay. It took ages to arrive, not always a bad thing, but was nice without being anything above normal. I thought the eggs were a bit tasteless, no seasoning readily available. my wife had the poached egg on avocado with mushrooms, which she didn’t eat much of. I asked for toast, as breakfast arrived. I’d finished my breakfast , we waited about another 25 minutes, then gave up and checked out. So finished on a low I’m afraid.

I booked a night away here for my husbands birthday. The setting is gorgeous, it’s peaceful and our nook overlooking the meadow was just perfect. The bed was comfortable and the pillows soft and amazing. It was the perfect size for two. Bathroom was big with a huge shower and with the fantastic weather it was lovely to sit out on the deck with a glass of bubbles. The staff were accommodating and friendly. I asked at reception for some champagne glasses for the room and I was presented with an ice bucket too. The complimentary items in the room were fab! Fridge was stocked with milk, water (both still and sparkling) locally sourced apple juice, brownies for my husbands birthday, along with a card. Also a decanter with sloe gin. Breakfast was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The espa toiletries in the room smelt amazing too. Can’t wait to go back. Only small downside was it was ever so hot in the nook but there was a Dyson fan which helped no end. It was a birthday treat to remember gutted a didn’t book two nights!

A wonderful stay in the meadow room, beautiful view from the decking. Our room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. lovely stand alone bath and powerful shower. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and the site is beautiful. We love this place and hopefully will return.

A wonderful experience. Went here today for lunch with my husband. It was a 10/10 experience; exceptional service, lovely food (high quality ingredients) and a beautiful outdoor setting. It was my husbands birthday and the waiter couldn’t have done more to make it special. Highly recommended. We will be back soon!

Expected more from the ‘luxury’ tag. Drain smell around the room which wasn’t pleasant, TV reception was annoying and unwatchable, no one to greet us at reception for 5 minutes. It’s the little things isn’t it. Breakfast was fine, nice big bath and a shower which was good. Wouldn’t stay again.

It had been a fair few years since we had last visited Tuddenham Mill. Previously we had stayed in a loft suite (gorgeous!) But this time opted for a Winter getaway in a Nook with a hot tub. It was perfect, the most gorgeous little hobbit nooks with a wood fired hot tub looking out into the Suffolk countryside. The nooks are so well equipped, the bed super comfy and the little decanter of sloe gin, divine. Our evening meal was nice, the breakfast even better. The cocktails also lovely. Overall, a fabulous stay, we'd return again for sure. 4 stars just because the evening meal although was lovely I've had better and a couple of the staff not as engaging as they could have been. Would recommend, it's a lovely place to stay.

We had a one night stay for a special occasion, and we certainly weren't disappointed. We stayed in Loft East, the room was immaculate, with no end of complimentary products. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special, the surroundings, the peaceful atmosphere, and attention to detail throughout the whole place. Food was incredible, the best brownie we've ever eaten! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and made our stay feel effortless. It was just what we were hoping for, a relaxing and romantic getaway! We will definitely be back!

Tuddenham Mill provides the perfect break for a romantic break. We stayed in one of the 'Nook' lodges which are cleverly designed to pack in as many luxury amenities as possible including an en-suite, TV, radio, dresser, complimentary spirits, heating and a small terrace overlooking the surrounding fields. From the welcoming reception area to the restaurant, all staff welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. The restaurant menu for breakfast and dinner is inventive and of high standard. I would love to return if the opportunity arises.
