Left too early for food. Coffee wasn’t ready but took a couple of muffins. Very small dining area right in front of reception. Only white bread available. No fruit.

We stopped here again so we could go down a part of Historic Route 66. Patty greeted us and we had the same room as before, which makes one feel at home. As usual, the place is spotless. We really want a clean room and a clean bath. This has both.

Stayed one night, booked reservation for total ~$60 on the econolodge website. Check in staff friendly. Room was clean and quiet, ac was on and room cool when I arrived, which was a nice touch for a late afternoon weat facing room in 95°F NM. Floor was not carpet, no hard water gunk in shower or bath. Bathroom clean, but the room had the small cadet round bowl toilet (take away a star for that and the nose level shower head). The mattress was a firm one, which I preferred. Mini fridge (worked!) and microwave in room. Breakfast was OK, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, cereal milk juice coffee. Added plus was the commercial meat locker grade AC unit in the room... Recommended.

******* showed total price with tax 66 something and ended up 71 something. Ceilings need to be taken care of, wall in bathroom need to be fixed and looking nice, morning people are friendly, breakfast was good. Do like the smoking room and willing to pay the little more but the 5 extra did not make me happy when i could have stayed next door 20 dollars cheaper, ground floor and stepped outside to smoke. Guy old me my room was 221 but wrote down 222.

Before booking I called the 877 number listed on webpage to ask if there was a spot to park boat and access to electric outlet due to staying numerous days and they stated yes so room was booked. After driving over 650 miles to check in the clerk stated there was no place to park boat and no outside plug. He even stated that there are no hotels anywhere that had that which is a lie. After calling the 877 number in front of him and talking to a representative, he said I could park it up front and use the outside plug. As far as the room, horrible. Tiles were broken in bathroom floor and holes in door. The fridge was falling apart as was the TV remote. Breakfast, just go to a cafe somewhere. I appreciate that they finally let me park my boat but it took phone calls and heated conversation. I should have just left and went to hotels next door. I cannot recommend this hotel.
