Set in the Sonoran desert, the grounds and surrounding area are covered in Saguaro cactus and other cactus varieties.. the grounds have great seating options to watch the sunrise or sunset or just to enjoy the serenity and Beauty of the grounds. The grounds also had a hot tub to star gaze in…fantastic. The rooms were very comfortable with all the facilities available. Coffee and tea were available all day long. There was a courtyard inside the B&B which had a water fountain and flowers. Lovely place to sit and watch the beautiful humming birds. Breakfast was varied and delightful. Extremely filling to prepare you for a day of exploration in the desert. The host Steinin was outstanding. She is a lovely person and very approachable. We loved chatting to her. In fact she made the stay even more enjoyable if that were possible. I would highly recommend this B&B if you are in the Tucson area.

Peaceful, unique bed and breakfast in Tuscon in a beautiful remote Sonoran desert spot, with a brilliant and talented host/ owner. The food, the spectacular views around this property are indescribable.

The moment we walked into the Casa Tierra Bed & Breakfast we were wowed by the beautiful courtyard garden and water fountain. The location of this beautiful adobe B&B couldn't be more perfect for hiking in the Saguaro National Park and spending the day at the Sonora Desert Museum. The Casa Tierra is the perfect place to relax. Sitting under the covered veranda looking over the garden courtyard made morning coffee and evening tea very special. Our hosts made our 11 night stay so comfortable. Steinen was so much fun to visit with and her gourmet breakfasts was a great start to the day. Whether you're stargazing in the evening or taking early morning walks listening to the birds greet the morning sunrise, we would highly recommend the Casa Tierra Adobe Bed and Breakfast...we loved everything about it. Thank you Steinen and David, your hospitality was outstanding. Owen & Nancy

Casa Tierra Adobe will spoil you. It’s one of the nicest bed and breakfast accommodations that we have stayed in. Our hosts Steinen and David have provided a wonderful desert retreat just minutes from Saguaro NP and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. The only downside is that it is not near any restaurants. It takes approx. 35-40 to drive to downtown Tuscon where most of the better restaurants are located..The bnb has 3 tastefully decorated rooms that each have a private patio with a view of the Tucson Mountains. There are plenty of common area spaces to relax, be it the private patios, the portal area along the courtyard and the sunset viewing patio just outside the dining room. The breakfasts were quite delicious and feature a baked vegetarian entree, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. In the late afternoon, there are fresh baked cookies that seem to disappear in a heartbeat. Coffee and tea are always available. The beds are very comfortable and we slept quite well. We enjoyed hearing all the sounds of nature at night, including the coyotes. Be sure to use the chiminea on the patio and view the stars at night with a glass of wine. That was truly one of our most memorable time there. There is also a hot tub on the property that guests can use. What makes the inn extra special is Steinen. She is a mom raising four boys and running the inn, How she balances all of this is a mystery. But, she makes sure that all guests feel welcome and is just plain fun to know. She is the real deal and deserves an award as woman of the year. We highly recommend this bnb and advise booking early.

We specifically picked this getaway on its stellar reputation and it's quiet location bordering on the National Park, and it was even better than expectations. The southwest authenticity of the home's architecture and surrounding grounds, combined with the genuine hospitality, generous accommodations, perfect sunset patio, and desert hot tub under the stars, made for a perfect escape. We were busy during the day after a hearty breakfast, but couldn't wait to get back before sunset to enjoy every minute at the Casa. It's an absolute AZ gem.

A perfect weekend is to be had at this B&B! We booked a two-night stay with the Falconry Experience package, and the weekend could not have been better. Steinen Hurtado is the perfect hostess and her attention to detail results in an incredibly relaxing and delightful stay. Steinen has thought of everything, and I cannot think of a single aspect of our stay that needed improvement in any way. The B&B grounds are naturally lovely, the rooms beautifully appointed, and the breakfasts are delicious and generous in size. We visited Saguaro National Park as well as the Desert Museum during our stay, and came back from both trips to fresh cookies and self-serve coffee, which revived us while we transitioned to dinner plans. We sat on our private patio with a fire burning in the chiminea one night, we sat in the hot tub the next night (which was heated to a perfect 102 degrees), and we snacked on some of the tasty morsels provided to us in our room fridge throughout our stay. The Falconry Experience was absolutely incredible, and was so convenient, seeing as the first day of the experience takes place right on the grounds of the B&B. The rooms are set up on the opposite side of the main house, which provides the perfect amount of distance between both parties. There is a patio that beckons the viewing of gorgeous sunsets, and if Steinen is available, she will join you there for a little chat. The B&B is beautifully decorated and the nights are blissfully quiet. If you want to enjoy the feeling of being away from things, but still be within easy driving distance of everything, this is the place to stay. We enjoyed it so much, we have booked a longer stay for the future. Of all the B&Bs we have stayed at, this is definitely one of the best!

My husband and I enjoyed staying here very much. It is away from the city, which we preferred so that we could enjoy our patio, the night sky and wildlife of the beautiful AZ desert. The BnB is lovely. We appreciated the adobe style and traditional interiors. Steinen is a great host! She made us welcome and kept us well fed. Cookies in the afternoons and terrific breakfasts. She accommodated my food allergies too. Do not hesitate to say here!!
