We had a wonderful stay! Marsha and her family were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed walking the property, sitting by the river and taking in the views from the front porch. While remote, the property was within forty minutes of the hiking and sightseeing at Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob. Great stay!

Beautiful country eacape in the west Virginia mountains. Close to blackwater falls. Host family was very kind and welcoming.

This is a farm stay, not a B&B. So don't book here if you expect the usual b&b breakfast in a pleasant,sunny room. We had breakfast among some vacumn cleaners and a fridge on a table covered with plastic. Asked kind of eggs we wanted we got scrambled, a thin slice of sausage and some toast. No other options, no juice, pastry the usual special breakfasts b&bs specialize in. The place is hard to find: GPS unreliable. The bedroom was pleasant, the farm setting as well. It's remote!

A lovely experience. The house and location has history. It basically owns its valley with a river c50 yards from the house. The farm includes pigs chickens horses. There were puppies and piglets while we were there. The family is super kind, generous and knowledgeable. Lots to do and see and we were there in frigid snow. Looking forward to coming back in warmer times!
