This was our second stay at this hotel and we continue to enjoy the location and rooms. The beds are very comfortable and the windows do a great job blocking out downtown noise; especially during the Euro Cup. It was great to watch the football games outside at the Ludwig (the hotel restaurant) and the staff there was very nice. The breakfast is excellent. One morning we had the two kind and super friendly ladies serve us, the next day the not so happy crew worked the breakfast. Parking is Euro 20 and very convenient. Hotel is also minutes walking to the train station or downtown. We'll definitely be back.

Für eine Nacht ist der Preis den wir bezahlt haben und dass was wir vorgefunden haben schon unverschämt hoch. Erstens wurde nichts über eine Baustelle auf unserem Stock und neben unserem Zimmer an der Rezeption beim Einchecken erwähnt, vor unserem Zimmer lagen Holzlatten, Metallstützen, Leitern und ein Rollwagen, wirklich ein nicht schöner Anblick wenn man in einem 4 Sterne Hotel Übernachtet. Im Zimmer zur Toilette eine Tür an der man sich ernsthaft Verletzen hätte könne, Holzsplitter hingen weg weil man wahrscheinlich mit Gewalt an der Tür ran gegangen ist. Die Wand am Bett ist Voller Flecken nicht schön anzuschauen. Für mich kein 4 Sterne Hotel, auch ungeschultes unaufmerksames Personal.

The Hotel Krone is in a perfect location, super close to the train station and super close to the old town (just across the bridge). Our room request was taken into account, which we were very happy about! The room was spacious, comfortable beds, a safe and a coffee machine are available. However, there is no refrigerator in the room. The sauna on the 4th floor with a wonderful roof terrace is also great. The sauna doesn't open until 6 p.m. (this is another important piece of information), but you can go in a little earlier on request. Breakfast also offers many options for vegetarians (for example, there is also hummus). The only downside to breakfast is the coffee: unfortunately it comes from a fully automatic machine and not barista coffee. The Hotel Krone also offers a room for bicycles that is locked overnight. We can definitely recommend the Hotel Krone.

This is my 12th stay in this hotel and you would think they recognise you by now, but now chance; which is not a problem because the rest of the hotel makes up for this. The location is just perfect; everyone seems to agree on that. The staff is not particularly warm but very much ok and there is nothing to complain about if you do not require to be pet. The room they gave me this time was quite big. They have very different types of rooms, so make sure you check first if you want spacious (like I got this time) or standard. Beds in all of them are comfortable. After all that is what counts. Breakfast is nothing but great; everything you need in a straight forward hotel is available. It was winter, I take sauna in Winters. Their Sauna area is rather new (I remember it was not there when I first visited years ago) and it is one of the reasons I stay in this place. Pricing is a challenge. After all it is Tubingen and not a 5* in Frankfurt City (which would be similar priced). But there is really no alternative to this wonderful place and the the question as to whether its worth it needs to be answered with alternatives - which there are none. So its ok in my opinion. I would recommend to go there anytime.

Hotel in a good central location but very quiet. Spacious room, very bright and clean. Comfortable bed with soft mattresses. Toilet bowl in separate bathroom with window is an excellent and convenient idea. Enjoy your breakfast. Ask for room number ten, it has double exposure of windows.

The hotel is very centrally located right next to the old town. There is easy parking in the courtyard, costs €17 per day. I booked a single room directly on the website and got a double room upgrade. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and competent. I would choose the hotel again at any time.

The best part of our hotel stay at the Hotel Krone was the location. Only a few steps from the Neckar River and Altstadt, everything was quickly accessible. The wellness area was very nice with a beautiful roof top terrace for relaxing. The hotel staff was EXCELLENT. The rooms were quite small with no mini fridge. The bathroom had a tub/shower combo which might be difficult for older folks. The breakfast was ample but not memorable. For 250 Euros a night, I would have expected a bit more value.

The centrally located traditional house offers quiet accommodation with very friendly service staff. The "family room" was well laid out, clean and equipped with a desk, sofa and table. The breakfast is plentiful and leaves nothing to be desired. We would gladly return
