We booked a single room for 3 adults. The queen-sized bed was nice. Two twin beds were located in a loft that was very cramped. Definitely a tight squeeze for average-sized adult men. No hot water, which is to be expected. The property is beautiful. As eco-lodges go, this one was not as secluded as some. You will definitely hear noise from neighbors, road noise, dogs, roosters, etc. View is spectacular. Staff excellent. We were glad we opted for the family dinner. The food was good and the portions generous. We were not bothered by mosquitoes in our room at all, despite it being completely open-air - however we appreciated the mosquito netting around the beds. The few mosquitoes lurking in the common washroom were the only ones we saw.

Friendly hosts, beautiful location and delicious food! The hike was informative and great, but would be challenging for someone with health issues (e.g. bad knees). Glamping experience, and we loved the porch front of the cabin. A must stay for anyone who visits Puerto Plata area, and great for families.

Fantastic mountain getaway to a family run oasis overlooking fields of palm trees and the ocean. The staff was helpful, friendly, and especially talented in the kitchen - dinner was quite the feast! Loved chatting with Tim, who started the project and has created various sustainable tourism ventures in the surrounding communities, and his daughter who has taken over the business. Thank you for sharing this space!

L'endroit est vraiment fantastique et pour plusieurs raisons: 1) les chambres sont vraiment ouvertes sur et intégrées dans la nature... un vrai plus ! 2) Tacha / Jessie (sr et jr) (et Tim) sont extrêmement accueillants et nous font nous sentir chez nous dès le premier instant... nous sommes reçus comme des amis et non comme des clients 3) Les repas sont vraiment très bons et ils proposent une formule avec les 3 repas qui est bien pratique 4) Les excursions qu'ils proposent avec des guides locaux sont EXCEPTIONNELLES... Nous en avons fait 2 avec Juani (un guide local qui a vécu toute sa vie à Tubagua): un hike vers une cascade avec explications de la nature ainsi que la découverte des oiseaux de tôt matin... les 2 étaient INCROYABLEMENT enrichissantes tant sur le plan humain que sur le plan des découvertes

This place has so much potential, but unfortunately they need to do some sort of revamping. If you are looking to connect with nature without caring for comfort/ cleanliness, then this would be a good spot.

El lugar increíble, la atención 10/10 y la comida demasiado brutal. Volvería 1 y mil veces más. Ambiente agradable, las personas muy atentas, realice una excursión también y fue muy buena la experiencia se los recomiendo con los ojos cerrados.
