Arrived for an overnight stay with breakfast really friendly receptionist who was very helpful and informative. Rooms very clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant food choice was very good. Very busy but great service. lovely relaxing atmosphere in the hotel which had locals and visitors attending a music night. We had room on the ground floor but heard nothing from the dance. Very comfortable and would highly recommend. We have been here before and never been disappointed. Keep up the good work. Male receptionist was terrific unfortunately I didn't get his name.

Stopped off here with a big group for lunch - a great spot for food and drinks. The only issue I have is the customer service from the sales and marketing manager Siobhan. When I emailed to complain about the lack of communication about the mix up (which was on the hotel’s side) I was met with no apology, only blame put on myself for not providing a phone number which I had 2 weeks prior when I made the booking. Thankfully the duty manager Mary was able to accommodate our big group. The bar staff were very friendly and Mary couldn’t have done more for us considering the mix up. Unfortunately, the rudeness and unprofessional customer service I received from Siobhan will make me very hesitant to book in for any group functions or gatherings again.

Staying in this hotel for a few weeks due to work. Staff are friendly, food is good with plenty of choice and rooms are comfy with everything you need (although sometimes the tea,coffee and biscuits dont get restocked) On the first floor around rooms 212 - 215 the window is looking out onto some kind of motor room which is quite loud during the night. It's also right above where the delivery drivers come ( very early in the morning) could hear staff shouting and talking about football, not respect for the people sleeping above. All round good hotel.

I visited the Ard Ri in April 2025 for family reasons. I was greeted with a smile and my room request was ready. Breakfast was a feast, Saturday night's dinner & Sundays carvery were delicious. Throughout a three night stay I found the staff to be attentive, considerate & obliging. I recommend this gem of a Hotel & look forward to another visit soon.

We celebrated our daughters confirmation party last Friday , the service was exceptional and the food was top class I would recommend this hotel. Continued success great location just outside Galway city, the rooms are lovely a very clean hotel .
