Couple on honeymoon
January 10, 2025
The hotel is centrally located and its street is lined with many shops and restaurants. There are a few restaurants with high ratings and the food is nice and less expensive than those situated near the lake, The hotel is only 5mins walk from the Sapa Station, the place to start the journey to the beautiful Fansipan summit.
The hotel itself is very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the large and delicious buffet breakfast spread, enjoyed our room which was huge and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the mountains (which sometimes dissappeared behind the fog), also enjoyed the indoor heated swimming pool and the gym.
The staff are attentive. Ms Julie and Ms Gon (i think they are both guest relationship officers) assisted us greatly during our stay. Both conversed very well in English and it helped us a lot in planning our itinerary.
When we first arrived at 7am, much too early for check-in, Julie readily approached us and checked if we needed any help. We took her advice to visit Fansipan Summit while waiting for our room to be ready because the weather was good. True enough, the weather and scenery were beautiful that day, and we are so glad and thankful to Julie because the weather in the following days did deteriorate. Julie also arranged for a special room decoration and a cake to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. That was very nice!
When we returned from our sightseeing and ready to check in, Julie was off work already, and Gon attended to us instead. We had specific requirements about our room, and Gon readily checked and managed to meet our requests. Over the next few days that we were there, Gon took time to chat with us, advised about places to visit and eat, and we even talked a little about our families. We learned that Gon could converse very well in Mandarin too.
Both Julie and Gon are so affable, and we're glad to have chosen this hotel which has staff like Julie and Gon to make our stay enjoyable. Could feel their genuine care for the guests.
