Wonderful Stay at Sapa Elegance Hotel – Perfect Location and Amazing Hospitality! We had a lovely stay at Sapa Elegance Hotel! The location is perfect—close to everything you need in Sapa like shops, transport, and local spots, but tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet away from the tourist crowds. A highlight of our stay was the newly opened restaurant downstairs, Taste of Vietnam. The food was excellent—truly one of the best in town—and Mr. Tim, the owner, is incredibly kind, humble, and accommodating. The hotel staff were also amazing. Special thanks to Andy, who was always helpful, polite, and spoke English very well. He made our stay even more comfortable with his assistance and warm hospitality. The room itself was great value for money. The water heater and water pressure were both excellent—something we truly appreciated after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sapa!

Decent Stay at Sapa Elegance Hotel with Some Drawbacks Sapa Elegance Hotel is in a very good location—just about a 4-minute walk to Sun Plaza, which is convenient if you’re planning to go up to Fansipan. However, be prepared for an uphill walk to reach the hotel, which can be quite tiring, especially if you’re traveling with senior citizens. While the staff mentioned that the hotel was recently renovated, the room still felt quite old and dusty. The heater in the bathroom also took a while to heat up, especially after one person had already used it. That said, the staff were very friendly, accommodating to our requests, and sincerely apologetic about the issues we encountered. Breakfast was good, but the selection was quite limited. Overall, the service made up for some of the downsides, but improvements in cleanliness and facilities would make this hotel much better.

The hotel is closed for renovation and not open for service, but it is still open for sale in the system, which makes my travel plans more complicated. But fortunately, Trip helped and recommended that I stay at Sapa wing instead, which Sapa wing took very good care of.

This hotel is in a great location near Sapa station and feels super homey. The ambiance is cozy, the included breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. They even have a sweet dog named Ruby who made our stay extra special. Our room exceeded expectations—spacious, clean, and with a great view. Highly recommended! I’d definitely stay here again.

Considering that it is a very old hotel, it was not bad. The hot water came out very well and the facility itself was clean. It is cold when you travel in April, but the air conditioning worked well. There were reviews saying that the breakfast was delicious, and it was really not bad, but it was not a catering buffet like you usually think, but a breakfast where you order from a menu. It was free with no limit on the number of items, and it was not the breakfast menu I expected (butter toast -> half butter and baguette (banh mi) or pancake -> Korean Gyeongsang-do style pumpkin pancake). However, since it is very close to Sapa Square, it was very convenient to go on a tour of Fansipan, Cat Cat Village, and Ta Van Village (Sapa Lake is honestly only a hotel and restaurant, so I don't think you have to stay there.)
