"23 years later, I went back to the University of Tsukuba where I was a postdoctoral fellow. I knew there was no hotel on campus, so I chose this hotel that was closer to the University of Tsukuba. If you live alone, it's pretty good. The front desk clerk I met was very friendly. Because it was New Year's Day holiday, the hotel restaurant was closed. I had dinner at an almost pure buffet restaurant across the road from the hotel the first day and at the station the next day. Breakfast at Starbucks."

Although it is in the annex, it is very convenient.
After getting off the bus, you can take the elevator to the second floor of the main building at Tsukuba Center, and then take the elevator/stairs down to the first floor to check in.

"Since it is far from Tsukuba station, it is safer to move by car or taxi in summer or winter. The facilities are clean and I wanted to use it again. Since there is only one large communal bath, men and women will be switched on an hourly basis. However, the room is large, the bed is the size that can sleep even two people, the bath and toilet are separate, the table like a chabudai is prepared with desks and chairs, and even the table and chairs for two people.
It was hard to find a meal, so I wish I had bought something (there is a microwave and a refrigerator).
There was a hot bath facility nearby, but the bath was large enough to stretch my legs, so I was able to relax enough.
Washing machine 1 return 300, dryer 10 minutes 100もあり, convenient でした.

It was a little disappointing that breakfast was not a buffet.
The air conditioning in the room was set to heating only, but I didn't have a chance to use it, so it was fine.
The baths change over time, so I have to be careful, but I enjoyed it.

GGuest UserI booked it because it was the cheapest around Tsukuba Station, and it was very good with a nice exterior and a tasteful interior.
There are a lot of manga in the hall, so I think it's comfortable in that sense as well.
The only thing that's a bit questionable is the location, which is far from the station and a little far from the bus stop.
It's along a main road, so if you're driving it shouldn't be a problem.
By the way, the nearest bus stop is in front of Hama Sushi on Google Maps, but in reality it's not there but in front of what looks like a game shop.
