We had a wonderful stay at Maneaters Lodge! The food was amazing, and the team took excellent care of us — truly great hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the location near the river offers stunning views throughout the lodge. Highly recommend for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

We spent 3 nights at Maneaters during the dry season. It was incredible. We didn't want to leave. There were animals everywhere. From the dining room, the pool, the bar and our verandah, we could see many animals. There is the resident crocodile which you can see at most times or the day. He is also very active which is interesting to watch. You can also see many elephants walking up the river as well as different antelopes, buffalo and monkeys. I loved sitting on the verandah of our room drinking coffee and watching the animals wander past. They even walk into the grounds. The staff are also exceptional. So helpful and kind. The manager is also incredibly helpful and approachable. I really wished we'd booked a few more nights. We will definitely be back. We have a 3 year old and we felt that he was safe there even with all the animals around because of the guards. Having a beer by the pool bar and watching the animals is hard to beat. Very good value for price.

Our stay at Man Eaters Camp was an unforgettable mix of comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly at home — warm smiles, helpful hands, and a relaxed atmosphere all around. The tented rooms are comfortable and perfectly placed along the river. Waking up to birdsong and the sound of the water was something special. One of our favorite moments was the **sundowner in the pizzeria**, enjoying delicious food and a drink as the sun set behind the hills — absolutely magical! Game drives were well-organized and full of surprises, but it was the **personal touch of the staff** that made this place stand out. They remembered our names, shared stories, and always had time for a laugh. This isn’t just a camp — it’s a place where you feel part of something. We left with full hearts, great memories, and the wish to come back soon. https://photos.app.goo.gl/4wk1EZXER2BmpuMZ8

Stayed in this camp for 2 nights. Great location along Tsavo river. And what a history this place has... railway construction end of 19th century. Hunting of 2 man eater lions. The camp has a lovely museum with lots of historic photos and artefacts. Nice cabins, restaurant, bar, pool. Close to Tsavo National Park. Elephants on th banks of the river right below my cabin. Super friendly employees. Good food

Fantastic place to stay. Peaceful with the Tsavo river running behind the camp. Beautiful setting with individual well equipped cabins , that have balconies looking over the river. Wonderful staff and great food. Nothing was too much trouble. We sat and watched the crocodiles and monkeys on the river banks . This was a great place to unwind and relax after a busy day on safari. Lovely swimming pool and snooker table etc. Would definitely stay here again. 1010

From the time we were received at Voi SGR station, till the time we left, we were welcomed and treated very well by the host of Staff. Wilson - the driver who received us, Levis at the front Office, Oscar at the restaurant and mainly Jackan our safari trip driver were extremely courteous and always ready to assist. Food was of acceptable standards and we enjoyed that as well with servings of large qtys. For Vegetarians, there is a good choice in the menu. My wife and myself thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, the ambience and the exceptional service during our stay at the camp. Though we did not see the lions during our safari trip [ we saw lots of other wild animals ofcourse ], we could hear the lions grunting in the early morning on both the nights of our stay there - amazing experience - the other guests in the camp also heard them - we were told the next morning that the lions were somehwere very near the camp boundary. During the Safari we saw a wide variety of the wild birds and Jackan was quick to explain the names and the details of all of them. U get chance to go to Tsavo - stay here - you will be pampered. A big thanks to both Mr Festus and Madam Rose for making this trip memorable.
