I can't begin to tell you how great the choice of this hotel was. We booked it as was going the the theatre to see the Luther tribute band who were amazing at the Hall for Cornwall. Under a minute from the hotel.
There was free parking right in the centre of the town which we managed to arrive early and use this facility.
We booked a queen size bed which was huge and very comfortable. The rooms are a tad tired but totally acceptable.
The staff in the bar were lovely and accommodating. This went from day and night staff!
This is the perfect hotel for shopping in Truro too.
Can't wait for our next visit! Fitted in a visit to Truro Cathedral too, truly inspiring!

The place was clean. The staff was helpful and accomodating. From reception to restaurant. However, i can hear footsteps from the hallway beacause they have wooden floors although it has carpet.

Ten family members stayed here for three nights and the hotel couldn't have been more amenable. Welcoming and welcoming will definitely come back.

Wir reservierten einen Tisch für sechs Personen zum Nachtessen. Wir bestellten gleichzeitig die Mahlzeiten. Nach ca. 30 Minuten wurden 3 Essen gebracht. 2 Personen bekamen das Rindsfilet ca. 10 Minuten später - die Beilagen Pommes Frites wurde Ihnen 7 Minuten später serviert. Inzwischen war das Rindsfilet kalt. Ich bekam den Fisch des Tages (Lemon Salmon) als die anderen fertig gegessen hatten. Allerdings war der "Lachs" stark mit Gräten versetzt, ca. 1.5 cm dick. Es handelte sich niemals um einen Lachs. Das Personal behauptete weiterhin es handle sich um einen Lemon Salmon! Ich weigerte mich 30 Minuten nach meinen Freunden das falsche Menu zu essen. Immerhin wurde eine weitere Eskalationsstufe verhindert da man den Fisch nicht verrechnete. Also mit mehreren Personen im Mannings gleichzeitig zu essen ist nicht möglich. Zusätzlich muss man in Kauf nehmen, dass das Personal und der Koch Fehler nicht zugestehen können....

I stayed overnight as I had a theatre visit the following afternoon and business in the morning. I took an apartment for easy access as in the main building the rooms are all upstairs. Guests have a free continental style breakfast and use of a gated car park. The car park is right beside the apartments. The apartment was spacious with a very large bed. The bedside lights are of the bare bulb type and a touch bright. Bathroom is also spacious. However the towel rail came away from the wall in my hand when I used the very nice towel. The apartment has a well equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, microwave, toaster etc. Everything was spotlessly clean. If the weather is inclement make sure you have waterproofs as there is no covered access to the main hotel building and restaurant. The hotel is right in the centre of the city and ideal for business and theatre trips.
