Staff is very friendly, but we are very glad this was a one night only experience. To begin with, arriving at 7pm on a sunday in Trollhättan you will have a problem getting food, because the hotel restaurant is closed on sundays! This is not ok in the peak tourist season during the summer. The town itself left us no good options eighter after a long day on the road. We could only find one restaurant open in reality, ofcourse it was already full. The other restaurants were open on Google Maps, but in reality had closed kitchens and were only serving alcohol. Thank god we only were there for the sleep, still it would have been nice with some food. The hotel room was spacious with good beds. It appared clean, but behind the furniture years of no vacuuming came to light. Also black mold in corners of shower. The breakfast was crowded, even though we had to book a slot in advance with a 45 minute window, we had trouble finding a table, they were dirty with used plates if available. Ok selection at buffet, but no clean cutlery to eat with. The bread was dry and old. The rolls were good, but there was not enough rolls for everyone. Great croissants. Had to pass on the pancackes, when we saw mold on them. This was a really terrible hotel breakfast!
